Japon stood there and continued to watch, scared.  He watched as the slapped each other back and forth, and yelled.

"No I want to eat him!" The Veram hissed.  "I will be the one to eat him and theres NOTHING you can do about it!"

The Ebilia slapped the Veram with it's wings.  "Oh yeah?  Well we'll see about that." He growled, and then bit the Veram's arm.

She hissed, and then pushed him off with her paw.  "Told you." An evil grin spread across her face.  "I knew you couldn't beat me."

He glared hard, and seemed to be making some angry noise.  To Japon's shock, he spun around and faced Japon.  "How would you like to be in my stomach, little Omni?" He flashed a glare at the Veram.

"Oh no you don't!" She snapped, and tackled the Ebilia.  They began to roll, trying to strangle each other.

"You're.... going... to go-" He struggled to push her off, and when he finally pinned her to the ground, he smiled in a dark way.  "Go down." He finished.

She growled loudly, and struggled out of his grip.  She lunged at Japon, and grabbed him with her mouth.  Oh no, would she eat him?

"HELP!" Japon cried out as the Veram took off into the air, holding him in it's mouth.

"Grrr," The Ebilia seemed angry.  "There goes my meal." He had wings, but after the fight he was too tired to fly.  And his wings were only bones, anyways.

Suddenly, a huge fire ball hit the Veram's head, and it accidentally loosened it's grip, causing Japon to fall.  He felt like..... oh god!  There was a volcano under him!

Japon tried to get out of the way, but he just kept falling, getting closer and closer to the volcano.  He shut his eyes, knowing this would be the end.

And then SMACK!  He felt strong arms push him, and he was sent flying the other way.  He hit a rock.  "Ow..." He said, rubbing his back.  There, next to him, stood Taylor.

"You okay?" She asked.  She seemed to have forgiven him, and was smiling.

"D-did you j-just push me out of the way?" He asked, shocked.  "A-and did you shoot some fireball?"

She nodded, still smiling.  With her small white arms that had bright red hearts on it, she rubbed it on the ground rapidly.  Her fur seemed to collect fire, and embers and flame danced around her paw.  She began to circle her paw around the ground instead of rubbing it, and now was doing it slowly.  The flames seemed to calm down with her, and now crackling noises could be heard, as if there was wood burning from the fire.

Japon watched, his eyes opened wide in excitement.  Maybe he could learn how to do that!  "Wow." He whispered.

Then she stopped.  She held her paw still, and the flames seemed to close in on her paw.  Her paw was turning red, and flames were on it.  A ball of flames, to be more exact.  She lifted her paw, which had fire circling around it, and was also on fire.  For some reason she didn't seem to feel pain.  Then she swung her arm hard, and a ball of fire was sent shooting towards a rock, small flames dancing behind it.

"Wow," Japon whispered again, watching as the fire ball hit the rock, and burst into tiny embers, which then vanished in thin air.  "Can you teach me?" He asked, excitement in his eyes.

Taylor seemed delighted.  "Of course!" She squealed.  "First, put a paw out in front of you." She smiled, and put her paw out in front of her.

Japon did as told.  He put his right paw in front of him.  "Then?" He asked.

"Okay, it might be a bit hard to get into the whole concentrating part at first, but I'll try my best to guide you." She kept her paw out in front of her.  "It might give you a headache trying to concentrate, but I think someone like you could manage." She winked at him, which made Japon blush a little.  "Rub your paw rapidly while picturing intense flames in your mind, and be careful not to take your mind off the flames.  It might cause the fire to go away."

"Mhm," Japon said, and began to rub his paws rapidly against the ground, picturing intense flame in his mind.  His paw began to feel a light burning sensation, but he ignored it.  Flames and embers were now dancing around his paw as he collected fire.

"And when you feel a burning, take your mind off the fire and concentrate on the burning sensation.  Thats what allows you to control the flame."

Japon stopped ignoring it, and put his mind onto it.

"Now circle your paws, and this time slowly!" She shouted.

He stopped rubbing and began to circle it, still concentrating on the burning sensation.  The flames calmed down, and there was crackling noises, like wood and coal burning.

"Now," She waited a bit, and then excitedly said, "Stop and keep your paw still!"

Japon stopped, and held his paw still.  The flames seemed to close in on his paw, and now it was quickly turning red and catching on fire, but he felt no pain.  It just felt like his hand was warm and cozy, nothing else.

"Lift it up," She said, smiling.  "And throw it at something-- not me-- as hard you can." She winked.

He blushed again, but did as instructed.  He lifted his paw, and aimed at the rock.  Then, with a powerful swing of his arm, threw the ball.  It smacked the rock, and burst into several embers, which vanished in thin air.

"You did it!" She squealed.  "Remember how to do that, it will come in handy sometime!"

Japon nodded, smiling.  "Thanks," He said quietly, still smiling.  "I'll repay you someday, don't worry!" Then he looked around, and stopped smiling.  "I really shouldn't be staying here too long.  I have to find a way out-- or one of those portals."

"Repay me for what?" She asked, looking puzzled.

"Saving my life and teaching me how to make a fireball," He said, smiling again.  He looked around again.  "Really, I should be going now."

"No, no!" She said, looking worried.  "Don't repay me, I don't need you to!  It's fine, I did it because I want to." She stopped for a moment.  "Please!  Really, don't repay me!  And don't leave either!" She looked hurt.

He was still smiling.  "Fine, I won't repay you, but I'm sorry.... I have to leave." He seemed sad having to go.  "Tell your mother what happened." And he began to walk off, then stopped.  "Wait, one more thing." He ran over to Taylor, smiled, and then licked her cheek (thats how animals/creatu kiss or show they love someone).  "There." And then he ran off.

When Taylor was positive he was gone, she grinned widely and began to hop up and down.  "He kissed, he kissed me, he kissed me!" She squealed happily.  "HE KISSED ME!"

Just then, her mother came, and Taylor came running up to her.

"Did you see that?!" She said excitedly.  "He kissed me!" She looked like she was going to burst with joy.

"Honey, calm down." Layla said soothingly.  "You're probably so shaken up from crying that you're imagining things." Layla truthfully didn't think Japon would kiss her; Japon didn't seem to like her.  But if she knew Taylor had saved Japon's life and taught him how to make a fireball, then maybe she would've believed her.

"But he did kiss me!" she insisted, and stomped her front right paw.  "He really did!"

Layla laughed and smiled.  "Lets go get some cookies, honey.  A tired little Iluvu like you needs some cookies before resting."

"Ooh cookies," she said enthusiastically, obediently followed behind her mom.  Taylor swished her tail from side to side in a very happy manner.

Japon ran across the hot and steaming ground.  Every so often he would look side to side looking for something, which happened to be the portal.  "It better be nearby because I don't think I'll be able to last much longer in this hot climate," he muttered.

"Yo, dude," said a voice coming from behind Japon.  "Did you see that?  It ain't somethin' you see everyday man."

Japon turned around, and saw a Myotis with black shades-- or sunglas.ses-- over his eyes.  He had a huge gold necklace around his neck, with a huge golden dollar sign hanging from it.  It looked really heavy and Japon wondered how he could fly around like that.

"Youth these days." he sighed, shaking his head.  "Speak, man.  I ain't bite.  Don't just stare at me, dude."

Wow, a lot of 'man's and 'dude's in his speech.  "Um, uh," Japon just stared at him, and blinked.  Finally, he had the courage to speak after the shock.  It's not like you see Myotis with black sunglas.ses and a huge gold necklace everyday.  ".... See what...?"

"Man, you've got problems.  No one ain't gonna miss somethin' like that," He shook his head in disappointment.  "Did you seriously not see that, dude?"

What was this Myotis talking about?  "Uh, yeah, I guess," he said quietly.  ".... I guess I didn't really see whatever you're talking about."

"Oh no, no, no, no," he shook his head again.  "This ain't pretty.  Someone who didn't see it...." He turned around, and Japon could've sworn he saw him smirk to himself when he turned around.

What was up this Myotis?  "Can you at least tell me what it was that I should have seen?" he said, sounding annoyed.

"Well, you Omni dudes always have your eyes closed, so of course you ain't see," he laughed.  "Should have realized that earlier."

"Hey!" Japon snapped.  He found that offensive.  "Of course I can see!  Maybe not with eyes, but with my mind!"

"Yes, yes," The Myotis smiled.  "I understand that since you can't see you imagine what you see.  I bet everywhere you go the volcanoes are lollipops and the fire is water.  Sure, kid, let your imagine get as wild as it is." He seemed to be purposely messing with Japon.

"No, no, no!" Japon said, annoyed.  "My brain has powers and can see things with those powers, and the image of the place comes to my eyes, even though they aren't open!  My brain does the seeing, and my eyes just seem to 'store' the image so I can still think and concentrate while seeing." He probably sounded weird and was being confusing, but this was the truth.

"Eh, dude, I ain't gonna understand somethin' like that.  You sure have a way to mess up peoples' minds with your nonsense," he said, shaking his head.  The next thing he knew was that a huge fireball smacked him at the side of his face and burned of his hair, revealing his pink skin beneath the short la
yer of hair.

Japon laughed, not because it was funny, but to annoy the Myotis like he had annoyed him.  "Where did that come from?  Hm, I don't know!" And he pretended to not know even though he did.  The fireball came from him.

"Ahhhhh!  My beautiful hair!" he cried out, and sounded like it was the end of the world.  "Y-you'll...." He clenched his teeth together, and hissed out his angry words.  "You're coming with me!" He grabbed Japon.

"Let go!" Japon yelled, struggling to free himself from the Myotis' grasp.

 Entering. I tried to enter before but I lost all my work. xD

The moonlight's silver breams dappled a silent figure. The figure glowed pale in the moonlight, its sides heaving in the rythmic serenity of sleep. A soft muzzle inhaled the sweet night air, and little snores of peaceful dreaming filled the darkness with warmth. This creature was an omni. Not a dazzling albino, or even a black. But a humble natural omni with sleek streaks like paintstrokes and vivid markings.

The omni was young - his chest narrow and sleek body long. He did not posess the grace of a full-grown male omni, nor the broad shouldered look. But his little snuffles were enough to make him resemble a sleeping angel. His paws shuffled in dreamland. A rare baby to be found - and his name was Japon.
