Thats what I thought. I guess I could start it out like that, but I would have to change a few things.

Once upon a time, somewhere far off in England, there lived a boy around the age of 18. His name was Rohan. He and his father lived in a small farm somewhere off from the village. They worked under the watchful eye of the sun. And when the sun, disappeared and the moon came out, they retired and went to bed with a warm meal. Rohan woke early one morning and he sighed gently. The morning's warm rays bathed his room in a beautiful orange glow. He wanted to never move, but the sun disappeared behind a cloud and his room was bathed in cold, ice blue light. He sighed and pushed the covers off, letting his feet bare feet touch the cold floor. He walked towards his dresser and he looked into the mirror. His face was handsome. A strong jawbone with a straight nose. His hair was as black as night and hung in front of his eyes slightly. He sighed and splashed his face with cold water from the basin, letting it run down his neck, refreshing him. He slipped his leather shoes on and he grabbed his hunting bow and quiver. he counted the arrows, making sure that there was exactly twelve. He smiled and he silently crept through the house. When he p*censored*ed his father's door, he paused to listen. It was difficult not to hear the loud snores resounding through the door. Rohan smiled again and he walked out the door into the cool morning air. He broke into a swift trot, running through the endless fields of corn and rows of vegetables. Suddenly, a large grey animal bounded beside Rohan, running with him and an easy lope. This was Thorin, Rohan czech wolf dog. He was lucky to have Thore, a great hunting partner and friend. His father had won him in a bet that he had made in the village. Thore and Rohan where just babies then, but they grew up loving each other like brothers. Slowly, they approached the large mountain forest. Rohan stopped at it's edge and he crouched down. He was re@ssured when he saw the deer's tracks, fresh. He pointed to the tracks and turned to Thore. Thore bent down and sniffed it delicately. Then he growled and turned towards the east of the forest. Thore took off, Rohan close behind him. They were as silent as ghost and as fast as a horse. Slowly, Thore slowed, his hackles raised and his lip lifted in a warning snarl. Rohan stopped. He took a few steps farther when he saw a great, large, hulking form. A brown bear stood near the body of a dead buck. Rohan patted Thore and they turned towards the west, making sure to create a big loop around the bear before continuing east. As they came near the sleeping herd, Rohan withdrew an arrow and nocked it. he crouched in the bushes, his eyes on the deer. Slowly, he drew his arm back. He faintly saw the flutter of the barn owl's feathers that he had fletched to the end of the arrow. Then, he let the arrow loose. it struck a medium sized doe. The doe grunted, startled and leapt to her feet only to fall back down again. Rohan whooped and jumped up. The herd bolted, leaving the doe behind. Rohan ran to the doe, who's breathing had become rasp. He knelt beside it and stroked it's steady cheek. "You traveled far and well. Go in peace." he whispered. Slowly, the doe's eyes glazed over. Rohan smiled and he first drew his arrow out of the doe carefully and skillfully. He cleaned it off in the gr*censored* and put it back in his quiver. then, he withdrew a hunting knife and he carefully, began his work.

~12 hours later

Rohan sighed and sat back, observing his work. He had managed to clean the skin and soak it. He had also managed to cut some of the meat into strips and wrap them into small bundles. He slipped them into his pack. he rolled up the deer hide and slipped that into his pack as well. Finally, he gazed at the hooves and bones. Thore could have the hooves. He would whittle the bones into other things. Knives, spear tips, arrow heads, whistles, etc. he sighed and put the bones in a spare pocket on his pack. He hefted it onto his back and he began his way back home. Thore bounded beside him, a single large hoof in his mouth, his tail wagging happily. He smiled and he hefted the pack higher. They would have to take the slow journey home walking. The pack would slow him down if he started running. As he walked, he thought about the village. There was a beautiful girl who lived her. Selena. She had soft chocolate brown hair with warm vine green eyes. She was slender and yet she had well developed muscles. He sighed. He had wanted to catch her eye ever since he had first spotted her as a young lad, but he could never buck up the courage. He was finally at courting age and he still was scared she would reject him as a fool pigheaded farm boy. He smiled sadly and he broke into a swift trot. he barely heard Thore give a warning bark before he felt something sharp dig into his side. He screamed and looked down to see a cougars claw lodged into his side. he turned and he saw a cougar had jumped from a large tree onto his back. It roared and he screamed again. He flung the pack off, but he wasn't going to leave the precious meat behind. he picked up a large stone and threw it at the cougars head. It hit the direct spot. The cougar howled with pain and lunged at him. Something tackled it in mid air and he screamed. "Thore!" he cried. His dog, Thore, was fighting in the dust with the cougar. Suddenly, the dust faded and he saw the cougar running away and Thore standing firm, a large cut on his shoulder. "Thore!" he cried happily. he flung himself at the dog and they embraced. he sighed and picked he pack back up. He looked down at his side, slightly shocked to see that it was stained crimson. The good thing was that they were near the farm. he grabbed a loose piece of willow bark and yanked, tearing it off. He dabbed the willow bark with aloe from the aloe plant and he washed the wound forma  nearby stream. When he was done, he placed the bark on the wound and hissed with pain. Then, he broke into a fast limp like run.

 ~15 Minutes later

he reached the farm and collapsed at the doorstep. Thore was panting hard in raspy breaths. Rohan was no better. "father!" he croaked. His father came from the side of the house and saw him. "Dear god boy!" He saw his father rush to his side and he felt the weight on his shoulders lift as the pack slid off. "Hang in there son." His father said gently, throwing the pack inside the house and mounting a well groomed mare. With that, they trotted to the village, Thore running beside them. The last thing he saw was the mares black mane flying in the wind, then he sank into the black abyss.

(( Is that enough, or should I write more? ))
