Zaphaoooooo.
I might color this later. Mostly though I just felt like sketching a Zaphao and then it turned into actual lineart because I wanted to try lining with one of the textured pencil brushes I've got. Especially since I finally figured out how to change my brush settings.
I like the look of it, though it seems a little fuzzy at full size. o: And I think actually I might have changed the brush's settings to look a little too understated. You can hardly tell it's textured hhhh.

I guess at least this time it wasn't entirely random though. xD I did it because of a fursona thread in the other art board and I have to join innnnn.
Also this is totally going to be my new reference if I ever need one. Even though I didn't do the mushroom on top of its head. Actually I think I'm just gonna continue to leave it off. It looks.. silly and tacked on.
Actually I could totally use this as a signature.

It'll have to wait though I'm busy spreading Nigels hhhhhh.

Your lines are so clean and lovely aaah I love how you simplify things. And yes pencil brushes and messing with settings is really fun. Because I really like drawing on paper and sometimes digital stuff is too, well, digital and needs some texture.
I really like your Zaphao! Much better than my attempts. I'll just have to point all Zaphao art requests in your direction now.
Also I like your doodles still even if they are not detailed bears. Vash. =3
And lovely pose on your 'sona.

Pretty happy with this, even though I drew it at probably two in the morning. I think it's just that usually I struggle with a lot of stylisation, but somehow I managed it a lot better than usual this time. That makes me pretty darn happy.
Even if the top of her head is a little squished. eheh.

Actually, speaking of tiny versions of my characters....... Silly little baby Peyote I never posted here for some reason, go!
Just sort of a really basic reference on his front patterns. He's not normally a baby but I really like drawing him as a one because it's adorable. 8Y
I guess as a quick explanation of the character himself, Peyote is..... sort of my personal embodiment of my favorite song? hehe. Third Eye by Tool. I just really love it to death. But anyway- He's a crow with the night on his belly, the desert on his back, and wild, glowing eyes that forever stare off like the blind. He never blinks, and many times he'll stand in place, stock-still, for days on end. |

I've been saying I was going to draw Knives smiling for a while now aND BY GOLLY IF I WONT KEEP THAT PROMISE. I just really like it when he smiles. He might be a murderer and a short-tempered jerk and a bit of a psychopath, but gosh darn it, the guy's absolutely adorable.
