I know o3o but thats kind of immposible with paint. Plus,lots of artist do the colored shadows.Y'know,like,with each darker shade the color goes warmer or colder than the actual base color. It makes the piece look better or livelier or something. I dont remember much about the la yer modes anymore,but i think getting teh shading 'colored' like that was impossible with the multiply
