I have been doing commissions for about three years or so. I haven't had amazing luck but I get some monies here and there. I haven't had much luck at all lately though, but mostly because I'm not able to connect to a game I used to play and offer commissions on.

I'm really enjoying rescreatu so I figured I'd offer art commissions here too, but for just TU. I don't think I can ask for real monies anyway from rules. xD I'm happy with TU though, since that might soon equal credit tokens and CS stuff :3c

Before I get technical, let me show you my work. Then I'll explain various thigns to know, and then ask for pricing help.

Anthro [Digital Color]

Feral [Adoptles-Digital Color]

Anthro [Sketch-Traditional]

Human [Watercolor-Traditional]

I have No Idea [Sketch-Traditional]

Human (Ethereal) [Sketch-Traditional]

Feral (Lol) [Sketch-Traditional]

Anthro [Sketch-Traditional]

Human (Goblin and Pet) [Sketch-Traditional]

Human (Draenei) [Sketch-Traditional]

Feral (Pikachu) [Watercol-Traditional]

Childhood (Kinda Like Chibi, but not...) [Sketch-Traditional]

Okay...As you can see I am mostly a traditional artist. I do better with painting, sketching, inking, etc. I am indeed trying to branch out and do digital, but I feel that my skills in digital coloring and drawing are rather bad compared to my skills with traditional. It's hard for me to adjust to the strange concept of drawing on a tablet, but looking on a screen. I have also started trying my hand at icon gifs and banners. ( My banner is made by me. It's still slightly incomplete but it's there. I'm working on the finishing touches.)

An Icon I made. It's choppy, but a start.

Icon I made ^

I don't think animated gifs would get me anywhere on this site, since you can't upload your own icons, but I'm putting it out there that I know how to do them a little bit in case...

As real currency, I price my commissions as like 5 for sketch, 10 for ink, and 25-35 for watercolor, but it all varies on special 'what-ifs'. Like how complicated of a pic it is, how many characters are in it, etc. I'm only telling you that though to give an idea of what my normal prices are and perhaps you can help me price it TU-wise.

So Anyway...I suppose just ask me questions you think would be relevent and any questions about what I can do, and let me know what you think I should price my art commissions/banners/icons at, depending on what they are and what medium they are.

Hello, dear.

Your art is amazing!

My recommendations are in the 250k-1mill.

I'd love to commission one!

Yay! :D Okay that sounds awesome. ^^ I'm planning on offering pure digital pieces, but my idea is, since I believe my digital work is kinda terrible, my digital will always be cheaper than traditional. Does that sound alright to you? o.o

I REALLY like the digital colored ones, the watercolor sketch and the traditional sketch... I would go at least 1mil for the sketches and I dunno 500k to 1mil for the digital, depending on how much detail and how long it takes you to do them :)

You mean the actual painting emmer? o.o Wow I never thought I'd hear that. Um...well I don't know o_O; I wasn't planning on selling art in the physical form through res, because the shipping  gets complicated and way too expensive. I'd rather sell physical pieces with true currency. I'm sorry. :<

If you're just wanting me to recreate another picture I'm fine with doing that but I simply can't mail you the physical painting. I mean, I guess I could, but it's cost true currency and if you wanted to do it that way we'd have to take this out of Res dealings. I'm afraid I won't ship international either, because that has just...ridiculous prices. :|

Iheart:

Thanks for the pricing tips. ^^ And the compliments! ^//^ Because Watercolor is a physical medium and costs money to actually buy I want the completed color paintings to be no less than 1mil. Sketches I can have less than a mil but it depends on how copmlicated it is, yeah. x3 My digital stuff is bleh in my opinion D: I'm surprised you like them but thank you!!!

I've got a decent range of prices here then. :3 Hmm...I also gotta think about what people can afford too though. I'm at work so I can't do any drawing at the moment but I can now ponder on this thought of what to price things! :D

The simple adoptables you have up there would be worth around 250k.

Your traditional art is amazing and I would price it at around 1-2mil.

Your digital art is just as good as your traditional so don't beat yourself up. I like it and I would price those at 2-4mil.

:) Your art is really worth a lot.

Awww gosh thanks shadow. ^^; I started out cheap because well, i'm starting out...I suppose I must work my way up the line, like I had to  with my commissions for true currency. ( I've recentl raised my prices by 5$ )

I'm glad that alot of you guys thought my art was worth a decent amount.

I'm actually thinking about offering 'adoptables' on the forums. I've seen alot fo really neat ideas beign thrown around on here. They look so cool~ I'm interested in starting my own. :3
