So, I'm thinking of doing Art commissions and I was wondering how much my art was worth. I would be doing

Examples:

Fully Shaded (with background)~

Do NOT steal
Fully Shaded (no background) ~

Flat Colour~

So, what do you think? Critique is very welcome =P

I think you might use the blur/smudge tool too much. Otherwise, I think your art is pretty good. 500k for colour?

Yes, I agree. I'm trying to not  use it as much.
Thank you.

I agree with clouding ^^ you also may want to try for cleaner lines on the lineart/i don't really know how to put my critique into words, but like in some of them, the colour doesn't go all the way to the lines and it looks kind of messy? not really. not complete, i guess.

They look good though. I like the way you did mah wolf guy c:

Yes, I find it very hard to get a clean finished line. GIMP 2 + my over sensitive tablet = Rather.. jumpy lines =/
I also see what you mean by messy/not complete. I'll keep that in mind.
Thank you, I'm glad you like him =]

Biggest thing you can do for clean lineart is to use as few separate lines as you possibly can when doing your final 'ink'. Instead of repeatedly lifting the pen and making new ones, try to hold a steady hand and keep your line going as long as you can. That way you'll only have a few spots where different lines connect that you might have to zoom in on and clean up.

I usually just tell myself to only go over anything exactly one time when doing final lines. No more than once. I can't fully trust my hand to be able to do a line exactly the same twice, and usually the ink bleeds on whatever I try going over a second time anyway. x3
