I make tutorials for specific people. I hardly (actually never) ever make general ones for everybody. But people find them useful. So I'll put them all in one spot.

Tutorials for dogs/canids:

TUTORIAL FOR MUSKUL MEN

Others

Almost all of these tutorials are referring to specific drawings the recipitient of the tutorial made and asked me to help with. So yurp. Don't be all like 'bro who are you talking to?' becase it's not you.

If you'd like help on something you can request for a tutorial and I'll make one depending on the demand. I'll try and offer verbal advice as well.

Coming soon:
Tutorials on:
-How to Draw Circles
-Fish Anatomy
-Faces
-Basic pencil techniques

I will make the following tutorials once I finish up some work:
-How to Draw Circles
-Fish Anatomy
-Faces

For now, here are a few tips (only applicable for beginners and intermediates) on how to make your work significantly better fairly easily:

For Digital Art:
-I highly advise you don't use a lighter coloured lineart from your base colour. It makes you look less professional. You don't need gimmicky bits that make your work 'better' or 'unique'. Your skill is what stands out, gimmicks are what bring you down.
On the topic of gimmicks, here is what I think are quite gimmicky:
-Gimmick brushes on photoshop (like the ones that look like maple leaves and grass)
-Excessive use of the gradient tool. Some people just use a gradient going in a single direction as shading. Don't, it's better that you showcase your knowlegde on how light works
-The smudge tool (on photoshop, water tool on SAI). It's great for making things blend with each other innit? Well, if you use it too much, I can see it very clearly. Using those tools in small amounts is okay, but if you're just putting down one la
yer of shading and smudging it about, you're just overdoing it.
-Photos as background. Just don't, it looks silly.

There are a few exceptions for these 'gimmicks', but you can only really pull  them off if you're quite skilled and settled with what kind of aestetic you want to pull off. Once you feel VERY comfortable with using whatever software you use (don't think this can be achieved in like 2 months or something, it's something developed over years) or just in general, experienced in art (prolly a decade or so would do the trick), then you can use these 'gimmicks' effectively (though I think no one ever uses the gimmick brushes).

Another note:
Digital art is not king. It's just a form of ex
pression, a tool that is used to convey whatever you want to convey. There are tons of artists who are awesome and don't use photoshop or whatever. I personally think that digital art is no better than colouring pencils or crayons. It's not how you do it that counts, it's what you do.

Please experiment with a many different mediums as possible. I've applied techniques learnt from acrylic and oil painting to digital paintings and vice versa. I have also learnt many water colour painting techniques and introduced myself to a whole new aestetic. I have also used chemicals meant for water colour and painting (like gel medium and masking fluid) on things I shouldn't use them on. Knowing what is available at your disposal is key to having fun with art.

For Graphic Design:
-Get a set colour scheme. I do not want to see a rainbow vomiting from your page. Get your colour scheme sorted please. This is useful (http://colorschemedesigner.com/)
- Think about your target audience. If you're making it for a business convention, you don't want rainbow vomit on it.
- Fill up the space. Awkwardly (awkward is hard to define, you'll have to sort that out yourself) empty patches make you look less professional.
- Don't use a default microsoft font as your header (like Papyrus, Comic Sans (<- THE WORST ONE OF THE LOT) Chiller, Gigi or Algerian). They are not cool, everyone knows what font they are. It's ugly. Make the effort to find new fonts (of course, you must take the copyright into account). There are tons of fonts on the internet.

- Don't use floral vectors:
Example:

-That weird circle target thing:
Examples:

http://3d-wallpapers.net/wp-content/gallery/vector/450balloonsbycelsojuniouk2.jpg

-Silhouettes of people jumping/dancing/mosh pit:
Examples:

http://s1.free-vectors.com/images/Music/009_party_poster_vector-l.jpg

Or worse, combined:

http://kaluuja.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/funkyblue-vector.jpg
http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/elde/elde1007/elde100700123/7454095-abstract-dance-party-poster.jpg

They are everywhere and I'm sick of seeing them.

For Sculpting:
- Get the right clay. I normally suggest you get polymer clay, but if you're new, use foam clay until you feel more comfortable. There's no point in getting a Ferarri if you don't even know how to drive yet.
- Get some tools, don't just use your fingers!
- Get an ickle bit of water/turps/clay softener. Don't make it too wet or it'll kill you.
- Reinforce the structure with some twisted wire if you think the structure may be compramised in the future.

For Animation:
- Please plan. Make a storyboard, sc
ript whatever. If it's not planned properly, it's not excuted effectively. I always keep a notebook at hand to put my storyboards in, I constantly change them.
- Get video reference, if you're not sure how it moves, don't animate blindly, do research. This is not the same as rotoscoping mind you. Most great animators (like Ollie Johnston) use video and real life references.
- Don't overdo the motion tweens. Keyframe animation is a core skill, draw the keyframe for every 5 or so frames and fill it in with inbetweens.
- Know different types of filming techniques. Live action film and animation have a huge connection. Lots of different kinds of pans and camera angles are used in animation. Know them and your animation will look more interesting.

In General:
-Practice loads
- Do your research, don't just look at Deviantart. Go to galleries (online and in real life). Don't just look at the pictures, try and understand the imagery.
- Don't pretend Michaelangelo and Da Vinci (though Da Vinci is an inspiration) (and soz bruddahs if they are really your favourite artists) are your heroes when your other favourite artists are from dA. Get out more, you need to be familiar with the art scene. Not just the contemporary art scene, you need to also know key movements and other people who have changed art.
- Try and spend as much time as possible with your work, don't try and rush yourself or your art will look bad. Don't forget to take toilet breaks, eat and sleep though.
- Get your philosophy settled. As I always say, you need to open your mind before you close it. How do you really know you are in love with the art you do now? You haven't done enough exploration yet. I walked into fine art for a moment, but ran home to graphic design and illustration. I'm not unchanged, I have change my view on art and I feel I've gotten better. I wish everyone luck to find their place ;D
- Don't 'aim' to be like someone. You have to be yourself, don't revere someone too much or you'll just end up copying their style completely. Also, don't aim to be 'unique'. You're just being a hipster there. You need to develop your own aestetic and make sure your art suits that aestetic.
- Don't be too cocky. You need to learn, no matter how good you are, you'll always have more to learn. If you're arrogant, you'll never improve because you think you're great now. 'Nuff said.
- Have confidence. Everyone improves with time and effort. If you like art, you'll never give up. If you lose confidence and do give up, well tough; you just missed out on a whole load of fun.
Look here:
http://www.rescreatu.com/forum/cat/arts/artgen/before-and-after/~page/1/
- Most importantly have fun. If you're on the quest to mastering art, you need everything you do to be fun. If it's not, there's no point in persuing it. Studying art is part of the fun by the way, masterness (?) it is not achieved through practice purely. You need to know theory and history.

Zozo, I can't help you much with that. I haven't had an epic life or been epic at life because I haven't completed the course of my life yet. So I don't have any advice. Don't avoid being a failure. If you never failed at anything, life's not fun anymore. You need ups and downs to keep things balanced. Downs are ineviatable, so don't let them get to you. Just think positively and realistically

Dogpaw and everyone else:
DIGITAL ART IS NOT BETTER THAN ANY OTHER ARTFORM.

Okay. You can dabble a bit in digital art, if it doesn't strike your fancy. Just dump it and stick to your pencils.

I have trouble giving help with this:
'Can i have a tutorial about Traditional in general?'
Erm. There are many traditional artforms. Loads. I know how to do a lot of them as well. So could you identify which medium you'd like me to make a tut about in specific?
Here's all the mediums I could help with:
-Watercolour
-Etching
-Sculpting
-Oil painting
-Acylic Painting
-Pencil
-Gouache
-Spray paint
-Charcoal/chalk
-Fireworks/gunpowder (a technique I developed myself)

Oh yeah. My advice is that if you don't know what to draw, then don't draw xD
If you have no inspiration, there is no point in making art. Just think a bit. Look at other people's artwork and hopefully you'll be inspired to do somehting yourself. It's better to think and develop ideas creatively rather than have a large number of unsubstancial work.
