Right now. I'm looking for people's opinions on how I could improve my art and also I'm looking for a rought valuation of it tu wise. Most recent example I have to show you is this:

It took around 15 minuites to comeplete which is why it's all messy looking. But messy was the aim of it unless you can't tell.  neh, if I was to open up commissions of some sort I would be spending much more time on them to make them look tidy but there we go.

So, opinions on how I should improve (appart from cleaning it up) and any idea of price?

I really do like the shading, I found this piece on full view on dA, the end of the shoelace can do with some touching up. I would suggest making it more cylinder shaped, and not decreasing in size. The shoe is very wrinkly, with I would not expect after looking at one of my own Converse shoes. The laces at the top are very sketchy, and could do with a bit of erasing. The white parts of the shoe are not shaded, or the shading is hard to miss, try to shade in grey and then lighten it up with white, white shading when done properly strikes me as a piece of art that has standard |D

Price wise? I'd say 75k+

Ahah, yes I was aiming for a rather scruffy look (as I have said) Thank you for that~ I'll try tidy up and go along with your suggestions. Once I find get my hands on these soft sketching pencils I love I'll add in the shading on the white. As for the wrinkly part, I've had my converse a while now and they've become wrinkled, just so you know about that part. Well I'll go along with your suggestions and post a newer version up so you can tell me if there's anything else I need to fix.

Thank you for picking up on my flaws I'll try fix them ^^

It'd be pretty awesome if you threw some color into the shading other than just a darker red. Blues and purples usually work pretty well when put into the shadows, unless your light is particularly warm. I just love color theory; a piece that makes good use of it will instantly grab my eye and probably my respect.

I personally don't know how to use colouring pencils. So I can't really help you here. But when I do try and use colouring pencils, I apply an absurdly low amount of pressure with my pencil (I do the same with my graphite pencils and my tablet D:). It's cause I don't like seeing the stroke lines and it sorta helps everything blend in. However, it's main flaw is that it takes so darn long. D:

I heard colouring in circles sorta help it look all blendy in or something, I'm not sure how. I say play around with everything and hope you get somewhere xD

That is quite epic, and I think I agree with everyone <3 Although I'd say for price 300k +
