i am going to start by saying it seems like youre afraid of drawing hands. on all of your pictures they either have no fingers at all or their hands or behind their back/hidden..

Firstly, do not call your own art crappy, and do not hate it either, it is too negative. We're in a world where everyone is better. So we should at least enjoy what we draw, yes?

You do not "suck" at drawing hands. You are just not comfortable with how you draw them because you do not draw them enough. Now, you have a hand at present that you can use as a reference (the one you're not drawing with). Draw this hand 20 times in different positions. Than 20 more times. In fact, just keep drawing that hand until either the drawing hand falls off or you feel comfortable drawing hands.

Also, I like your cute little critters. And you have a good handle on shading. You just need to be confident enough to draw hands and draw people in different poses. For this I would say to go out and gesture draw people. Gesture drawing is getting the movement of the form and not worrying about details, and if you think about it, movement is more important than details in the long run anyway.

Big tip. If you call your art 'crappy' it will be 'crappy'. Its a subconcious thing that works like wonders, good and bad. Per example, you could say, "I suck at revising," and when it comes to revising, you won't have the inner motivation to try hard at it. Tell yourself that you can draw really well, and your drawings will most likely turn out better.

Also, if you want to improve in general in animate objects, you must do your research. Even mythical creatures like gryphons you must google the muscle anatomy of said animal and works from there. If you are still having trouble, there is a tutorial for just about anything on DeviantArt.

Don't only draw on the computer make sure you know how to wag around a pencil D<

Never ever ever throw other mediums in the bin once you get a tablet. Most children these days do that. It frustrates me D<

Also, experimentation and practice seem to be the key to improving (to me). I'd advise you do that. Do at least one drawing a day to make sure you don't get rusty.

I (HATE)' YOU

Feel the love man D:<

Ping, when you say don't just draw with the tablet I get that, but I am better with a pencil, just the tablet, I love it o3o. I'm not sure how to make the lines straight when you scan pencil drawings on, like I dunno, and no one explains to me -sigh-

Thanks <3
