I want to draw on computers. I want to learn html. And What is flash? I want to learn about all of this stuff without paying for any of it. And without having to pay for a bunch of programs. All I have is a normal laptop and internet. Any suggestions?

If you want to draw on computers, then get GIMP, a free trial of some other program, or MS paint. The rest is practise.

HTML is coding websites, there are good tutorials at www.w3schools.com. That's where I learned and it's actually run by the World Wde Web Consortium, so it's very accurate. The only other thing you need is a web browser, (which you have,) and a program like Notepad, which you have if you're running Windows.

Flash is a program used to make games, animations, dress-up dolls, and other things. I don't believe there's any free flash program though.

I've had to go on a unplanned hiatus and will not be able to get on much, if at all. I apologise for any inconvenience this causes you! If you really need to contact me, I may respond to rmails.

In order to make games or anything on Flash, you'll need to know another code called 'action'. It's kinda hard to wrap your head 'round though. But I wouldn't tackle something like flash at such an early stage, it's real expensive (unless you hacked the software or bought it pirated) and you may not pick it up so easily without a slight bit more advanced knowledge on computers.

Drawing on computers is sorta the same as drawing on paper. It's not as hard as one would think. xD A laptop won't limit you in any way. Oh and there's a thing called a 'graphic tablet' that allows you to draw stuff on the computer as if you had a pen and paper. But I wouldn't buy one unless I know how to use graphics software in the firstplace. I've met many people who made the mistake of buying a super expensive graphics tablet before learning to use the software (but it's not like they were artistcally talented in the first place anyway), they don't even know the basics of Photoshop.  GIMP's okay, but it doesn't have that good image quality, and there's a few glitches. I'd get software like Corel painter or Adobe Photoshop (pirated/hacked of course xD) if I could. I mean GIMP's good 'cause you don't have to break the law (well, it's not a law where I live) in order to get it cheap.

I (HATE)' YOU
