one thing i think you should work on for more detaled drawings/paintings is your light source

not that its bad

your chihiro piece is awesome

but your more recent one could use more shading detail

its still adorable ;o; but if the light source is coming from the top of her head you might want to shade areas that the light may not catch, like parts of her outfit or her knees or something

theres not much more i can tell you lol ;o

im having problems with my art lately ;c so i can just give you advice given to me that has helped

I have been having troubles with shading since I'm always not sure about the light source ^_^' since I always like to colour with just flats which means I haven't been practicing that much.

I have also been trying to practice more dynamic poses  and expressions as well to give my art more 'pazaz' so I've been sketching on paper more often (and when I sketch trust me it's not pretty) and I've been experimenting with poses so I am wondering what advice can you give me when practicing it?
