I mean no offense or anything, these are just tips for chibi drawing.

This is just from personal experience. I know photoshop is exciting and everything XD i was psyched when i first used it. But you have to take as much time with your sketching and drawing as possible. ( as in pencil and paper)

Read up on anatomy and manga/anime styles. (if thats what youre aiming for)

Since you mentioned chibi, you could focus on smaller limbs and features. The eyes can be big or small, whichever works. They have that cute effect on viewers.

I hope this helped somewhat. Let me know if you want me to elaborate. :)

Yah. As always, anatomy anatomy. It really does help, even with chibis. xD

For instance, the first thing I notice is that her chest is huge and her hips are.. hardly there. Kinda looks unnatural.

Biggest advice I can think of for drawing girls that aren't like, twelve or younger. Women have big hips.

It's like how even in realism, you notice eyes over noses, even though noses are usually bigger. Yes.. we do have magical chests. xD But those only affect how wide the ribcage appears from the front a tiny bit. You can't ignore the hips, which will always be at least a little wider than the ribcage, no matter what kind of figure a girl has.

Also. Don't be afraid to get crazy with poses. Break out of that habit on the same pose of standing straight up with maybe a limb or two in a different position. Experiment with angles. Bend your characters to their limits.

Looking up stock photos of people doing stuff or going to a busy public place and doing quick stick-sketches of various poses can help a lot. 'S a great way to loosen up.

Hm; anatomy please? xD Even though it's chibi, the body should still sustain its anatomy. Usually the head is a bit out of proportion.
Don't really have much to say other than that. Do experiment with poses and do realism first/learn from real life. Best not to direcly jump into anime style as simple as it looks (take it from me- I've done it). You're anatomy is going to be all screwy and stuff. Try random poses as yoshi suggested. There's always room for improvement ;D
