Welcome to The Band Fan Club!
Oh come on, admit it, everyone has had at least a little bit of experience with music. Whether it's banging on pots and pans as a baby, playing an instrument, or singing in a choir, we all have talents concerning music somewhere deep inside of us (how deep depends on the person)
So, share your stories, brag about your band, and just love on music here ^^

Started playing flute in grade 7, played for a year and then returned the flute.
But I've had lots of experience before, and would really like to play again.

Totes joining. You should have a member list, showing if they play an instrument(s) ;) Sym is a flute player.. I can barely reach highest G, forget A XD Sym is also an alto singer who can unfortunately also sing nearly everything else. High soprano, low soprano, bass, tenner... |D Darn voice. Oh well X3

You guys should listen to the song Fantasy on Irish Air. It's the song our little band plays so well, and it's so gorgeous ;u;
Meg is an alto with lots of second soprano and tenor in her... darn range :I

Aha...Flor isn't much of a singer.
I used to sing in choir, but I quit after some girls obviously thought choir was about being in the spotlight.
That was waaay back in grade school.
I like to sing alone though, or sing randomly. I can't sing very high or low, can only sing on a moderate key,
I had a solo once...I think it was Imagine by John Lenon. {if I spelled that wrong, sorry! D:}
And we sung a lion king song in choir, had to do a trio with two of my old friends.
Ahh...that was fun because I tripped on the stairs lol. /derp
Turns out I may be getting my flute as early as May...but latest July.
Can't wait to start playing it. I have so many songs I want to play, some french songs.
Ah Sym...I struggled with the high notes for flute in grade 7.
After about two months I hit the highest note that I was capable of,
and could hold it without screeching or making a bad sound.
I went to D4, but apparently it goes up to F4.
EDIT: I also play keyboard {if that counts as piano? :P} and guitar. Though not much experience with guitar.

That's cool Flor. I can't nearly hit the highest note on my clarinet. Until recently I didn't know that it could even go that high o.o It's crazy nuts how high it can go, probably around the highish flute range.
And I'm sure Flor has a lovely voice <3 I like to sing to myself as well. |

Geez, F4? ;.; I don't dare attempt this XD Sym loves to sing <3 Unfortunately, the other altos (aside from one who also sings low and high soprano on a few songs) barely fricking sing. Leaving to sing loud as I can without my voice failing |D

Same here Sym. I'm probably the only alto who can actually pick up harmony quickly and sing it well. All of the other altos croud around me and listen to what I'm singing so they can sing it right too. It always makes me feel bad whenever I get a note wrong because then the entire alto section sings it wrong.

I hear ya, Megabyte. I am in band, I am the best in my section because I picked up the notes really quick. Everyone depends on me usually. The one time I messed up WAS AT A CONTEST. We still won, but I got a lot of heat because of it. :(

Jo loves singing. She sings, a lot, so if you tell her to sing a song, and she knows that song, she will make a video of her singing it and share it on Res. (fyi ;)) Jo also plays piano, and is going to start viola very soon! <3

Jo: Singing is just great, my parents used to say that I sang my way through life when I was litt ^-^
And I play a little bit of the piano, it's really fun and a lot easier to learn if you've learned an instrument before it. |

Jo: yeah, it's true. I played the clarinet and picked up the piano instantly because I already knew the notes, how they fit on the scale, how to read the music, etc. And that's cool, I hope you do well ^-^

I've been playing the Piano and the Violin for almost 12 years now. I also sang in my school choir for about 2 years when I was 10. :)
It's nice to see passionate musicians on here :3 |

I love to play my Alto Saxophone and Clarinet, and I also sing :3 I've always wanted to learn Oboe and Bassoon but I can't afford anymore instruments, plus no one teaches Bassoon or Oboe around here really, it's quite sad...

I'm a 2nd soprano with a range of almost 4 octaves I started playing guitar last year and I played violin sens 4th grade but, quit this year because I hate the teacher. I've also been playing oboe for 3 years:) Though I've always wanted to play piano and flute we just don't have the money |

I sing, play euphonium and baritone, guitar and all that jazz :D I have always wanted to learn oboe, alto sax, and bassoon. And chello <3 I really like music, okay? D: My school's band is currently the 30th best band in the United States out of over 250 ;3 kay. bragging= over

Kake-chan plays the trumpet and has been since she was nine. She also plays the piano, but she is still a beginner. She loves to sing, she sings all day every day.
