So this morning I had a bit of a 'Lightbulb' moment,
and though, what if there where some planet-species specific colours ?
Related to the various planets elemental themes...
Gemstone creatu colours ?
I don't know if it's been suggested before, but I can't find
anything at all about it so I don't think it has.
It could be something like this ;
Reiflem - Ruby
Relcore - Emerald
Atquati - Sapphire
Scria - Diamond/Opal
But that only creatu native to the various planets can have those colours.
So eg, for Relcore only Gondra, Malal, Berrok etc could have the colour Emerald,
and something from say, Reiflem like a Veram couldn't.
The colour would, of course, be similar to that of the Gemstone,
the Gemstones could be for the eyes, too, and maybe the lines
could maybe be a little bit more 'jagged' to get that look...
I'll make a couple of pet edits later to try and show what I mean.
Edit ; Not sure how I can edit 'jagged' lines, but I've got some exaples down there...
Anyhows, onto how you would obtain these colours;
Just a few suggestions, wouldn't know what one to go with though but...
1) They are a rare hatcheable colour only for residents on those planets.
2) When wandering around on those planets, a very very VERY rare popup
will show saying that you have come across a strange pile of dirt, and ask if you want
to dig in it, then you find a whole gemstone (if lucky) or a shard of one, and say 5 shards
could merge into a whole gemstone. That gemstone is then used on your creatu,
but will only work if it is a creatu native to that planets gemstone.
3) The Planet Guardians give out quests, and at the highest tier it is a
rare reward to recieve a gemstone that will transform one of the native pets
to that planets gemstones colour...
Personally, I like idea 2 & 3 the most.
