my "OPINIONS"
i believe the right hind leg of the teen is a very obvious error here... the left front and hind legs of the adult looks a little twisted... and the left hind leg of the baby is also a bit off... otherwise, it's great! =] |

hm, i never really liked the malal, let's start out by saying this. i dislike it even more now. i'm in no way trying to insult the artist when i say the things i'm about to, but i think someone needs to give real criticism on the new revamps and, while i may not work here anymore, i hope you'd respect the fact i *did* work here and that i do know what i'm saying. i quite like the baby, i think it's cute, anatomy is done well enough to not notice the errors. i think though the coloring surely needs some work--it's very pale in comparison and instead of making a nice, 'eased into' dramatic statement with shading...it is much too stark a contrast. however, on both the baby and the teen...the farthest back leg, well, the foreshortening is completely wrong--you'd see much more of the leg. the way it is now just makes it look like it has a gimpy leg, like one is longer than the other. i totally like the faces and the new markings, they are definitely adorable to look at. on the adult, the pose is much better, however, it looks like one of the horns is missing the way it is now. i think that the horn should be *above* the fur on the neck. and also, the tails...what happened to the slick fluffyness? as it is right now the adult looks very squished, like it really was drawn in an invisible box. aesthetically, it would have been much better if the tails, or at least part of them, were on the other side of the animal. |

Oh, it's supposed to be the malal! Well...the far horn on the adult is improperly positioned, making it look like it's missing...you really have to look to find it. Also the tails are too long. Other than that it's okay. |

It looks awesome~ and now it has all the colors yay~ But I agree with some users, why not the Chimby and Drindians first, or perhaps are they next? I hope so~

Wow, the Malals look awesome! Although, I don't really think the Malal was in need of a revamp, not nearly as much as the Chimbys and the Drindians. I'm glad the Malals have different colours available now, though. I particularly like the cream and the blonde. |

Excellent work, though two major problems. Albino is TOO pink AGAIN, and the cream is far too bright. My eyes hurt looking at it. If you ask me, cream should be a white dilution of the base color at any rate, so it should be blue with a pink mane, not the other way around. Don't go stereotypical and paint everything the same colors for the same color type.
Rest are awesome.
So, when are you taking care of murren and mirabilis? Hmm? |
