Flower

When one life ends another begins;

Flower sways with the soft breeze thats currently sifting through the leaves of the purple plum tree hes sitting under. Oh how he loves his garden and days just like today! The sun shining with nice warm rays, and a soft breeze keeping things cool enough for outside activities. Hes sure ready for his number two favorite activity: Napping.

Flower is the King of fishing and gardening. And he loves being able to share the fruits and produce of his labor with all of his friends and family that come to visit. That is if they manage to visit when he isnt in one of his many napping sessions.

This pet is in honor and remembrance of my Grandpa.

I’ve lost my best friend..

I am honestly still trying to process this loss everyday. I am brokenhearted and just trying to heal and come to terms with this loss. It hurts so freakin badly every single day knowing you arent part of this world anymore. That your room across the hall is now empty, I wont walk in there and see your broad smile or hear one of your jokes about something random.

For the past 10 years there has not been a day when we hadnt randomly said good morning to each other at random times during the day as an inside joke thing just between us two.

We had so many adventures, and you taught me so many different things, like how to drive or which back road to take to find a good fishing hole or huckleberry patch. I still remember the one time we took your truck out and we accidently got it high centered and stuck in the middle of the nowhere. You'd gotten a ride back into town and called Uncle John to come help get us unstuck.

Or the time I lost one of my flip flops in some deep mud walking out to a fishing spot and youd mentioned while laughing that they probably weren’t the best fishing shoe choice. You called me daughter and said youd would walk me down the aisle at my wedding one day, and this meant the world to me. And it still does.

You planted me tulips all the way around the house when you found out they were my favorite flower. You taught me how to garden and aided in my growth as a person.

There are just so many things I wish I could still talk to you about or share with you.

I love you grandpa, good morning! Oh, how I miss you so very much.
