Kiokso pawed at the sandy ground, her eyes seeking the glint of a stray relking coin. She was very well-attuned to the most efficient way on which to find them, knowing it was best to search in areas where the ground seemed undisturbed - after all she had been sent treasure hunting many a time. She was the best at it amongst all of her companions. She cherished it all, the fresh air in her lungs, the adventure, the excitement of discovering new places, the unbridled pride and joy of returning with the usual five relking coins, or twenty two if she was lucky. She was sent treasure hunting so often that to her Captain Twuntie and First Mate Bay were a home away from home. At first she had been hesitant - being over 750 days old, she had considered her exploring days long over, so when it was first suggested for her to go, she was taken aback. A creatu of her age adventuring? She had pushed down her fear and now, years later, she was grateful. She had learned so much. She remembered fondly the day she had come across a curious Tesuri cub, it had stared at her with fearful awe, before slowly approaching, trying to scope out this strange creatu in its proximity.
After spending a while entertaining and getting to know it, She had left a relking coin with the little Tesuri, a token of her friendship, in fact the young Tesuri had reminded her of herself at that age; curious, always wanting to learn and meet new friends. She knew she was luckier then most in these times, news spread fast, and it was a sad, but well-known fact that the Atqueen Forest had been full as of late. She hated to think of this poor cub, or any, stuck in such a cold, unforgiving place.
In fact each and every adventure had helped her find new friends in the most unlikely of places. She hoped it would never stop. Even when she brought back a single relking coin, she was welcomed back just as warmly. The thought of getting back to a warm cup of hot chocolate made her increase her efforts, and to her delight she found a coin, nestled beneath the sand where she had been digging. She was content.
Kiokso is one of my favourite creatu, despite only being on a baseline (no training bonuses), she usually brings back 4 or 5 rc. She's like my very own lucky token. I love to imagine her going on fantastical adventures while she's gone, and make up stories about all of the creatu she meets on her travels. I love her dearly and she is one of my favourite creatu. <3
