Raccoon

In a world of waste and filth, a creature small and sweet,
A raccoon with fur so fluffy, and eyes so bright and meet,
She scavenges through the trash, with paws so neat,
In search of food to eat, and treasures to retrieve.

Her little paws so delicate, her eyes so wide and bright,
She rummages through the cans, with a playful might,
But then, oh dear, a tragic sight,
She's injured, poor thing, in a pile of trash tonight.

But fear not, for a hero appears,
A kind and gentle angel, with a heart that clears,
She sees the raccoon, and her injured form,
And rushes to her aid, with a tender storm.

She lifts her up, with a tender care,
And holds her close, with a love so rare,
She cleans her wounds, with a gentle touch,
And soothes her fears, with a gentle clutch.

The raccoon, so grateful, with a twinkle in her eye,
Looks up at her, with a heart full of sigh,
And knows that she, is in good hands,
With this kind angel, who understands.

She takes her home, with a warm embrace,
And nurses her back, to a healthy space,
And though she may, have been hurt and alone,
She knows that she's found, a true home.

So here's to the raccoon, and her rescuer so kind,
A bond of love, that will forever be intertwined,
For in the trash, they found, a treasure so true,
A friendship that will, forever shine through.
