Iubui are Creatu that are equal parts mysterious and adorable. Uniquely, their elemental alignment is able to fluctuate, unlike any other species. While most Creatu maintain a bond with the element of the planet their breed originated from, and a rare few others maintain equal affinity to the elements of the four primary planets, the Iubui can adapt to whichever element's essence it is most exposed to. However, once this elemental adaptation has occurred, they can never revert back to their base form.
All Iubui initially hatch in the same natural state. In this base form, they possess silky soft fur and a tail of such fluffiness that many have often described it as the softest thing they have ever touched. They are even more well-known for their spectacularly long ears. Learning to walk without tripping over their own ears is a young Iubui's greatest challenge; when they grow into adulthood, this is no longer as much of a problem. When raising a young Iubui, it is recommended that you keep your home carpeted or invest in an extra-soft rug to minimize the impact of any ear-related falls.
Whether investigating something new or saying hello to a friend, an Iubui's instinctive reaction is to gently poke the subject of its interest with its nose. This 'boop' gesture allows it to assess whether something is dangerous or if it can be played with. When they find toys or other things they like, your Iubui companion will likely try to bring those things to you if they think you're feeling down. Affectionate at all times, Iubui will never leave your side if they know you need some cheering up.
