Iubui are Creatu that are equal parts mysterious and adorable. Uniquely, their elemental alignment is able to fluctuate, unlike any other species. While most Creatu maintain a bond with the element of the planet their breed originated from, and a rare few others maintain equal affinity to the elements of the four primary planets, the Iubui can adapt to whichever element's essence it is most exposed to. However, once this elemental adaptation has occurred, they can never revert back to their base form.
Atquatian Iubui have an unusually keen sense of taste and use it in a unique way. When drinking water at the surface or flicking out their tongues while swimming, their taste buds can detect even the slightest trace of anything else that has recently been there. Just one taste of the water can tell them what Creatu last swam or drank there and how recently they were present. They are capable of doing this on land by tasting the air as well, but they can only do so in high humidity. Once they have detected another Creatu, they will track them in the hopes of finding a brand new friend to play with.
This variety of Iubui is the most playful. Sociable and lively, they love to play games in the water. Playing with them regularly is a surefire way to cement your bond with them. They adore having plentiful playmates around, so it's a good idea to make sure there are other fun-loving Creatu in the house. Give them the friendship they so crave, and your new companion will be happier than a surfer at a summer luau on Atquati's shores.
