So I am relatively new here but I followed a fellow role player here and I have finally decided to jump into this sites RP section and meet the locals. I figured what better way to get a sense of the people here than to do an open species roleplay, to have a little fun and get to know everyone.

Now naturally all role plays need a plot and I have been working on a rudimentary idea, basically a combination of a few older group role plays I have hosted in the past so here it goes.

Day to day life has been the same stream of monotony, your character has been living their lives as usual. One day while going about their daily business something strange occurs, a strange energy arises around them. The world seems to slow down, their bodies grow heavy and a blinding light engulfs their vision.
Suddenly they are falling, helplessly, unable to move or resist. The blinding light and chaotic energy around them making all resistances futile. Their consciousness begins to fade, leaving only the sensation of falling and a strange feeling, unknown energy flowing through their veins burning like fire, binding to body, branding their soul. Then they hit the ground.
The harsh collision with the solid ground jars their senses even as the blow knocks the wind out of them they become aware of some things. The air smells different, the energy around them feels different. Everything feels different, they are no longer where they where. They are no longer in their world.
Your character has been summoned to a new world by a desperate population seeking a solution to a problem which they themselves believe they cannot fix. Furthermore your character has been magically bound to a monster, one that the locals hope that through the binding ritual your character can control. These creatures can be anything, dragons being the most common but any large, ferocious beast will do.
Of course things don't always go as planned, summoning strange beings from another world doesn't automatically mean salvation. No one knows who is good, who is evil, who wants to help and who will cheat their way into escaping their new role. Only one thing is for sure, your in a new world, bound to a monster whom may or may not want to eat you, surrounded by strangers whom believe your some sort of savior and teamed up with other people whom are in the exact same situation as you. Most of you just want to go home.
Your characters can be anything as long as they are able to take on a human form and the beasts they are bound to can be just about anything. They could be good, neutral or evil, their intelligence level  and power is up to you.

Now what do the locals want? They great their newcomers with this story:

A strange dark shadow has appeared in the near by country
cutting off all contact with the country and its citizens. No one knows
where this shadow has come from and what happened the people who live
beyond the darkness. There is only two things known about the dark
storm, one is that anyone who enters into its shadowy grip is never
heard from again. Two is that the shadows are spreading, slowly and
surely they are taking over the countryside. This has caused endless
amounts of panic as people flee from the darkness and surrounding
countries do their best to figure out what is going on.
For years they have been battling against this dark storm and during those years countless lives have been wasted.  Now no one else is willing to go all that could have been sacrificed to the darkness have been, no one else is willing to risk their lives and they have run out of options. They need something or someone who is stronger, they need someone capable of surviving the darkness they have decided to turn to other worlds for a solution.
Even though the risk remains that they are unleashing a bunch of monsters onto their lands, the hope is that if even one of those monsters could end the darkness it would be worth it but they where not going to simply unleash these creatures. They need someone to control them, someone whom can be sacrificed if things go wrong. That's where you come in, you a stranger from another world has been bound to one of these creatures. If you want to live, you'd best find a way to control or befriend them. If you want to go home, you have to solve the puzzle of the dark storm first.

If anyone is interested in this role play, I will be using my long time OC and my namesake whom is my mage thief.

  The whole point of this
role play is to be as creative as possible and have fun doing it. All
ideas and thoughts are welcome, don't be afraid to suggest something.

  Rules:

  •     Respect other role players and the plot

  •     No bullying, god-modding or magically knowing things about other characters.

  •     Be realistic and think from your characters point of view, not from your knowledge of the roleplay

  •     Write your favorite type of animal in the other section if you read this.

  •     Ask before changing/adding things to the plot. Most reasonable ideas will be welcoming.

  •     Follow site rules.

  •     Onexone spin-offs welcome

  •     Pay attention to what
others write, I have had countless role plays where people don't and
then confusion or arguments take place.

  •     You can borrow this idea and run with it on other sites, just let me know and give credit where credit is due

Story/extra:(Personality, history or whatever else you want to put about your beast)

  Other:

  Name: Creus Aurinko

  Age: 23

  Gender: Male

  Species: Mage

  Relationships: None, open

Orientation: He hasn't figured that out yet

World: A conglomeration of some of my favorite worlds, so more or less my own creation. A place where supernatural beings due exist but have been persecuted almost to extinction. Mostly medieval, using horses for transport ect but a few modern conveniences like plumbing.

Appearance: Creus if generally fair skinned  as he is often most active at night however if he spends enough time in the sun he does get
a light honey colored tan. He is also fairly tall and lean reaching 6
feet and a hundred and fifty-five pounds, with a chiseled physique due
to years of living life on the run. He has a rather athletic and well
proportioned build though he runs toward the slim side.He isn't overly muscular as he is built more nimbly his assets lying in speed and stamina rather then physical strength.   As
a result he isn't very wide in the shoulders but his build has served
him well in his years of living as a thief. Like this rest of his build
his face is also well proportioned, oval in shape and narrowing slightly at the
jawline. His proportions give him a rather graceful appearance for a
human. He also bares thick, golden blond hair that falls just above the
center of his back when left loose however he often keeps it tied back
out of his face with a black ribbon. One of his most striking features are his eyes. If one
where to examine them closely they would see a dark blue rim around his
iris and jagged rays of lighter blue intertwined with deeper blue around his pupil. He prefers to wear lighter weight clothes as he does not want to be weighed down
when a speedy escape is needed. His usual attire often includes a simple white button
down shirt with black pants and well worn black leather boots. Over that he wears a
stolen trench coat with plenty of hidden pockets sown into to
stow away stolen valuables.

Personality: Creus is generally a loner, he is slow to warm up to others and is often rather standoffish and distrusting but if he warms up to the people around
him his kinder side becomes apparent. He will often quietly lend a hand
to someone in need without asking anything or wanting in return. In
fact he generally does not like to be recognized for his good deeds and
will often try to put others off snarky or blunt comments. Creus is
definitely not the type of person to sugar coat things, if someone ask
him a question he will tell them exactly what he thinks and sometimes
his words can be a bit cruel. This is because he believes the truth is
far more helpful then gentle lies no matter how tough it might be.
However while he might be blunty truthful with personal stuff with other
people he usually contradicts himself as he is generally far from an
honest person. He is a thief and a con-artist and has quite the silver
tongue often trying to talk and lie his way out of dangerous situations generally preferring to try and avoid conflict with words rather then
action. Along with that he is more of an intellectual person
spending quite a bit of time in his pursuit of knowledge, specifically
magic. This man is also quite cunning as he
has been thief the majority of his life and has so far avoided capture.
Though he does have a rather pronounced rebellious streak should he be forced into a position where he is confronted by an authoritative figure. He will not hesitate to question the one in charge or the decisions they make. He will do so openly, albeit carefully challenging the person. Something that will probably get him into
some trouble but despite his challenging nature he is loyal once someone manages to gain his trust.  Despite being a thief he has no desire for power or anything else that might give him extra
responsibilities, leading to the fact that he is quite lazy when he can afford to be. If he can
manipulate or coerce someone to do work for him he most likely will.
With all these faults however he does do a few good deeds, one in
particular is that often what he steals goes to help others in need.

History: At the age of six his family made a deal
with a slave trader and old family friend intending to sell the young
boy to the black markets of asia and get rid of him for good, as well as
make money while they where at it. The slave trader however was far
from sane and he had a rather bad history with Creus's father. Thus he
crafted another plan one that would enact his revenge against Creus's
parents and make himself some money. Iinstead of buying Creus from his
family at a rather hefty price he simply murdered his family in front of
him and kidnapped Creus with intention to sell him once his power fully
manifested. During this horrible moment of the young mans life, then a
young boy Creus too made a critical mistake that would forever change
his life. During the initial attack when the slave trader took out both
his parents the then, young boy's, older brother tried to defend his two
younger siblings. When Creus saw his elder brother who was valiantly
trying to defend both him and his younger sibling was about to be struck
down he tried to interfere. In a fit of sheer panic he tried to use his
power to strike at their attacker however young and untrained he struck
his elder brother down, completely missing the slave trader. After this
happened both young and terrified Creus attempted to run away dragging
his youngest sibling behind him but they where soon caught and his
youngest sibling was killed.

For an entire year he was held captive by this madman as they
both waited for his power to grow stronger. He spent the entire time
locked in the mans dark, damp and musty basement without seeing a single
glint of sunlight while the man attempted again and again to force the
boy to use his unusual power, often through cruel and even downright
torturous methods. Until the boy learned to use his power on command in
order to show it off to potential buyers Creus was of no use to the
slave trader.

After enduring this torturous confinement for so long things
finally began to look up for Creus, first off he finally began to gain
some control of his power. It wasn't much at first and the young boy
wisely chose to keep it hidden from his captor no matter what pain came
his way knowing it would only lead to a life of slavery. During the many
hours he spent along he would practice using his magic manipulation to
undo the lock on his shackles while he waited for an opportunity to
escape. That opportunity lay with his captors addiction to alcohol, once
he got his shackles open the first time he didn't have to wait for
long. The next time his captor passed out drunk he escaped, the
basement, the house and into the forest beyond never again looking back
at the place which held him prisoner for so long.

The young boy spent the next few days stumbling through the
forest until he finally arrived at a nearby town, exhausted and
starving. There he met with a group of street rats, a bunch of orphans
led by a slightly older boy who survived by stealing. They took him in
with open arms and taught him the life style of the streets. As the
years went by with the aid of his powers Creus quickly rose through
their ranks to becoming one of the best thieves among them. As he grew
older he began to take charge and help look out for the others and he
also started leading a double life. He stole good clothes and began
attending local schools under a false name, although he didn't have much
interest in a lot of the things he learned there he wanted to have
other skills and knowledge aside from street smarts and thievery

For a few years all went well until the locals whom grew fed up
with the losses began to retaliate. They began to hunt down the orphans
one by one executing them on the spot for their
crimes. Eventually they hunted all but two of the orphans down Creus and
his best friend whom both decided to flee town. On the day that they
where preparing to leave a local farmer who had a vendetta against the
orphans for stealing from him in the past claimed that they where the
leaders and last surviving members of the local thieves. Although both
Creus and his friend tried to escape they where surrounded and caught.
Later that very day they where both sentenced to execution
without so much as a trial or proof that they where indeed the thieves.

That night Creus managed to escape using the same lock picking
spell that allowed him to get free from the shackles years earlier. Upon
escaping he immediately went to the jail that supposedly held his
friend but upon arrival he realized his friend was gone. He searched
briefly for his friend but he did not have the time to hang around as
the authorities and locals where both on his tail eventually forcing him
to flee town without locating the whereabouts of his best friend. To
this day he does not know the fate of his friend but he believes he was
either executed that day or escaped on his own. Since that fateful day
from over ten years ago he has always kept an eye out for his friend
hoping that somehow he was still alive.

Since then Creus has spent most of his time traveling from
place to place making a living as a thief and avoiding those who wish to slay him for what he is. He has never spent too much
time in any one location in fear of having to relive the events of his
past.  Although he lives well now he has not forgotten where he came from and often will aid others in worse positions than him during his travels. He will without hesitation steal from the rich and give to the poor. Over the years he has picked up various spells and knowledge about
magic from people he has met or watched during his travels and
studying books. He has mostly learned elemental based and healing spells,
however he has learned a few others as well. Of course his favorite is
still the lock picking spell that saved his life and earned his freedom
not once but twice. As of three years ago Creus was caught in a blizzard
near the northern border of the country he was in. While trying to get
to safety he stumbled upon a white wolf pup whom was curled against its
dead mother and siblings. On a whim he picked it up and brought it with him
too next town intending to sell it off to someone. However the person
he had met in which he intended to sell the pup insisted he should keep
it. As some where in some old book apparently white wolves where good
luck. At first he wanted nothing to do with the animal but it soon grew
on him and he named it Blizzard after the storm he found it in. Later on
he shortened its name to Blitz. Now three years later he would not
trade Blitz for the world as the wolf has proven invaluable. He cast of
his last name as a child due to what his parents did however he often
makes up random ones as he goes ones of his favorites is Aurinko.

Pets: Blitz, a pure white wolf with golden eyes, weighing in at around one
hundred pounds. He is more intelligent than the average wolf, while he cannot speak he seems to have a strong understanding of the human language. He is also obsessed with food.

Beast

Species: Dragon

  Name: Raizel

Appearance: Raizel is a relatively large dragon with glimmering metallic gold scales and cat like sapphire eyes. Similar to the western style dragons he has four legs  and large bat like wings.  He stands at the height of thirty feet with his body doubling in length
at sixty feet long and an impressive wingspan of seventy feet. On top
of his head he wields a pair of slightly curved and perfectly spaced
horns, several facial spikes and a small crown of spike that continue in
a signal row running from the back of his neck down to the tip of his
tail which is tipped with a razor sharp spade like spike. These spikes
have a similar curve to that of a wolfs canine tooth and along with the
horns are a metallic gold color that are a few shades deeper than his scales. The spikes also are longer on his back and neck and
grow shorter as they approach the tip of his tail.

Abilities:Fire breathing, some basic magic control, flight

Story/extra:Raizel personality is much lighter than Creus's, he
tends to be easier going and finds humor in more things. His personality
is similar to that of a wise old man who's already been there and done that, he isn't
bothered by much. He also enjoys pushing is people into doing things they aren't
entirely comfortable with and often acts as a wingman if he thinks he see's a relationship forming even if his interference is unwanted.  His voice is deep with rich undertones
and though he does not have vocal chords. His words are
conveyed mentally or occasionally audibly through magic to those who
cannot hear his voice in their minds.

  Other: Wolf

So what do you all think? Did I scare you all away with all my writing? :P  I assure you most of my posts will be around 1-2 paragraphs in length if this role play takes off. Also note again, I am new to this site so if anything I wrote is of issue please let me know and I will gladly change it.

Edit: I am playing around a bit with fonts and styles so I apologize if things look a bit messy.

Humanoid Creature
Name:
Zakhar Belyakov
Age:
27
Gender:
Male
Species:
Plain ole human...
Relationships:
None, Open
Orientation:
Bisexual
World:
Basically like the one we live in. There's no magic, monsters, etc. so all of this is going to be really new to him. However, the world he lives in is a bit more dystopian in the sense that it's run more-so my militarism, mafias/bratvas, and corruption, than by governments. Technology is also a bit more advanced.
Personality:
Unlike most of his brothers, Zakhar is the opposite of stoic and level-headed. He's always doing the
unexpected instead, Mac-gyvering his way out of situations using charm, cunning, or the resources around him. He's always working on breaking the perceived image that bratva members are nothing more than bull-headed brutes and hates to be seen as nothing more than a thug. So he's pretty particular about his image and uses his suave personality and good looks to do most of his work. This makes him a good grifter. And of course, if that does not work he's always got some sort of hair-brained scheme up his sleeve. Be it jumping from a fifth floor balcony into the pool below, or a bomb made out of cleaning supplies. Zakhar's well know around the bratva for being the one to blow things up for wreck havoc. He's a little to unpredictable to ever rank up in the bratva, which rankles him a bit, but he also likes the freedom from time to time that's allowed by being a brigadier.
Zakhar is a bit of a scamp with a misleading smile and a rather peculiar sense of humor. Quick to laugh and just as quick to start a fight, Zakhar loves the high from an adrenaline rush so is more than happy to seek out adventure. Which often lands him in trouble. Basically, he's all charm and flashy grins until crap hits the fan, then he's causing as much mayhem as he can. In a day-to-day setting he's pretty jovial and talkative, though quick to snark and makes rude comments if he deems them necessary. Which is pretty much all the time. It's hard to get a read on Zakhar, to know where you stand with him. You could think he's your best friend until he stick a knife in your back, or he might seem like an enemy until he saves you at the last second.
((Zakhar's actually pretty new to me, so I'm still working out some kinks in his personality. Forgive me for such a short personality section!))
Appearance
:

PictureZakhar is 6'2'' and athletically build from a life of training and just by necessity. He's got a scamp-ish air about him and a nearly permanent, misleading grin. With sharp cheekbones. thin lips, and hooded eyes, he's not classically handsome; but rather closer to being a 'pretty boy' if not for the perma-stubble and square jaw. His thick, black hair is cut in a modern, short style so that the top is slightly longer then the sides. This allows for the naturally wavy tendencies to show. Zakhar's eyes are a dark brown, bordering on black when not in natural light. He's got a mish-mash of small scars as well.
History:
Zakhar comes from a large criminal family (bratva) with ties to international arms dealing. From the time Zakhar was old enough to hold a gun he was taught to use it in the defense of their family and the bratva. Loyalty to his father, Andon, was ingrained as the family's mantra and Zakhar has never questioned it. Though Zakhar nor his brothers really notice it, Andon is, and always has been, manipulative and psychologically abusive towards them all, turning his children into his guards and weapons. No one can tell them this though, not without eating one of their bullets. They all love their father, Zakhar included. Having grown up in this atmosphere of fear, loyalty, and death, Zakhar is immune to it and see's the world outside the bratva as boring and monotonous. After growing up learning to fight, shoot, grift, and steal Zakhar is now taking on solo missions for his father. Most include grifting, which is basically swindling and fraud in order to gain money, information, and allies.
Pets
:
Illium

Beast

Species:
Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcoatl)

Name
:
Kukulkan
Appearance:

Though some think he's a dragon, he's not. His body is that of a tle="giant serpent" target="_blank">giant serpent, roughly 45ft. in length. Kukulkan's underbelly is scales that are rough, much like stone, while his back is covered in feathers that are thin enough that they almost appear as fur. He's sandy colored, again like stone, with his underbelly slightly lighter than the feathers. His face is the same material and color as his belly, and featherless. His jaws appear almost more feline than serpentine, though he can unhinge it like a snake. Kukulkan's eyes are bright gold and slitted like a venomous snake, but glow in the dark like a cats. Though he does not have horns, he does have a golden ornamental head piece that appears almost as a headdress with much larger, brighter feathers flowing out from behind of it. Along his back is a row of thick 'spines' that are of the same rocky material as his under belly. They are not sharp, but actually are more rectangular in shape and more for defense then offense. Lastly are his wings, which are massive, off white, and feathered. They are located not to far behind his head rather then halfway down his body.
Abilities:
Flight, definitely. He's also highly venomous and can spit it over great distances. Can perform magic, but only wind based ones.
Story/Extra
:
Cold, aloof, and despairing about the fact he's been bound to a human. He finds humans pathetic and beneath him. They are petty, and if he gets the chance he prefers to eat them rather then listen to them. Kukulkan's going to have little interest in helping to save the realm, or in any of his companions. He's wise, though, and level-headed, and would rather talk his way out of trouble than to fight. His body is hard and rocky, made for defense, but because he's lithe and serpentine he's very quick in flight. He is not, however, strong.
Other
:
Zakhar's pretty much going to nickname him Quetz.
Also, favorite animal? Jaguar.

Beast

Species:
Farxal
Name:
Illium
Appearance:

PictureCredit goes to someone on PA (I need to remember who..). I do own the picture, however.
Abilities:
Farxal's, though small, pack a punch. Their sparse quills located along their back are hypodermic, and at the base of each one is a small amount of extremely potent neurotoxin. If threatened, the neurotoxin is pushed through the quill making the tips poisonous. Each quill is also barbed at the end, meaning it something hits or bites at the farxal and gets a quill lodged in, it's not coming out easily. The quills are detachable, meaning that once attached to something it's continuously oozing out neurotoxin into it's victim. This neurotoxin causes almost instant necrosis of the skin and tissue, then low blood pressure, convulsions, hemorrhaging, respiratory paralysis, and death. Their bite also contains this neurotoxin, but not every bites comes with a hefty dose of it.
Farxal's are also smart, with roughly the same brain capacity of a 5-year-old child (think a little smarter than a chimpanzee/orangutan). They can be taught to do different things, and will often learn things on their own by observing humans. While many people think they can understand their words, Farxal's can't unless it's something they've learned and associate it with something else; such as fetch, food, or lay down. They can, however, perceive the emotions of the person speaking. Such as if their angry the Farxal will go on the defensive, or if happy the beast will behave accordingly.
Story/Extra:
Illium, like all his species, will get attached to one human and will remain loyal to them throughout their lives. He chose Zakhar after the human 'freed' him from his small cage. Illium is quick tempered and does not trust anyone outside of his chosen human, unless they feed him. In which case he won't actively bite them, but nor will he sit on their shoulder. He has yet to decide if the other humans except his own are worthy to be allowed to pet him. He's not sure about the wolf yet, but as long as Blitz does not try to play with him or bite him he does not mind the canine.
Other:
Nothing yet.

If anyone has any questions about characters or wants to make some changes to the basic character layout feel free to rmail me. I will gladly accept most changes

Also people are welcome to have more than one character if they choose, as long as you have a main from an outside world you are welcome to play someone from the world they get summoned too.

As for what characters are available from that world? Well first we have to built it, any ideas are welcome.

Generally speaking I do prefer medieval style role plays but I have no problem changing things up or doing hybrid worlds with elements of medieval, steampunk, science, modern ect. So basically whatever anyone wants. It could even be a world divided between those things and more.

You are also more than welcome to rmail me a character if you are unsure of its fit to the roleplay

Humanoid Creature:

Name: Kuro Sasaki (Meaning “Ninth Son” or “black”)

 Age: 24

 Gender: male

 Species: Japanese dragon

 Relationships: None/open

 Orientation: Gay

World: A world much like our own but one where magic and myths exist, shaping the development of technology and the way of life. He’s from a more isolated ancient culture that had just barely been introduced to the outside world before he had been yanked away to this world.

Personality: Kuro is a very social person, wanting nothing more than to make sure those around him are happy and safe, even though that often means he looks over his own needs. He’s easy to trust someone unless it's obvious the circumstances say he shouldn’t; however, he doesn’t easily forgive those who betray that trust. Kuro could forgive someone for being stupid, for even catching his house on fire, but if they go behind his back, betray, or hurt him he shuts down, pushing that person aside and anyone who gets on his bad side has to work extra hard to earn his trust again. On top of being a rather calm, carefree sort of person Kuro is an unabashed flirt once he figures out if his ‘target’ won’t just punch him for doing so. While he can seem fickle and shallow Kuro can be serious. He’s always willing to listen and be a shoulder to cry on and in a fight he’s unmatched in speed and skill, making it clear that while he prefers to lay about all day eating sweets and soaking up the sun, he is a trained warrior.

Appearance: Kuro has two appearances, his human appearance, and his dragon appearance.

Human Kuro is 6’4” with piercing half-gold half-blue eyes, long black hair that falls to his lower back and a skin tone that’s a fair honeyed color, right between porcelain and sunkissed. His build is lithe and slender, ideal for speed and grace but not so much for brute force, leading most people to underestimate him in a fight, not realizing that while he’s slender, he’s muscled like a cat with the stamina and speed to back it up. Blue scale ‘tattoos’ dotted with scarlet flowers run over his body, covering his upper arms and back, running down his spine and narrowing in toward his spine until it turns into blue ‘spots’ scattered down the line of his spine to his butt. He also has red markings around his eyes, but unlike the scale markings which could be seen as tattoos, these are undoubtedly part of his skin.

Dragon Kuro (his true form) is much like any other Asian dragon, a long serpent-like body with small legs, and ‘mustache’ whiskers. His body is a combination of blue and red scales lining his belly while soft light blue fur runs over his sides and back, a ridge of red fur running down his spin to the tip of his tail where it ends in a big blue poof of hair. Dragon Kuro has a large pair of ears and a line of small but sharp spikes that runs from his forehead down to his tail, most of them hidden under his long fur.

History: Kuro was named very literally, being the ninth son in a vast family of ‘Guardians’ and very much the black sheep of the bunch. For generations, his bloodline had protected their island home from anything like a foreign invasion to simple natural disasters. Kuro’s family is not the only such ‘Guardian’ bloodline, so when Kuro was eventually born as the ninth child, he didn’t have nearly as much pressure placed on him as most of his other brothers. Being the ninth child meant he was mostly left to himself, often overlooked or ignored by the family or staff. Which meant he could do what he wished as long as it didn’t disgrace the family or put anyone in danger. The only rules were that he had to train like all his other brothers, learning to fight and protect, accepting that he was the last defense if all the others died. Though the likely hood of that happening with all of his eight other siblings was next to impossible. Instead, there was another duty placed on him, to further the family line. Kuro spent most of his life knowing that eventually he’d be married off to some girl and have a family of his own. Some might think that wasn’t so bad, but Kuro felt like that was all he had in his future so this lead to him wanting to live his life as he saw fit, taking control while he still could, that is until he realized he prefers men over women. At first, his parents were surprised, but they had plenty of other sons to pass the duty of an arranged marriage onto so they just ignored the fact.

Kuro’s younger teen years were spent driving his family mad through his carefree attitude and constant chasing after the boys in the village, some times to wrestle them to the ground, other times to flirt and make a general nuisance of himself. Eventually, his ‘wild child’ attitude got so out of hand that his parents decided he had to be reigned in, his training growing more and more intense. Since his late teen years, Kuro has spent his life mostly locked behind the walls of his family home, training and watching the house, still a bit wild but subdued. It wasn’t that his family was harsh or cruel, but they were dragons and having a child who refuses to grow up and accept life, preferring to run around with the humans getting dirty and harassing young men… well, it baffled his parents. Not knowing what else to do they kept him locked up, hoping that training him harder than the rest of his brothers, teaching him manners, diplomacy, and even magic would help him ‘grow up,’ but all it did was give them a son who was smart and wise but still chose the path of a childishness. Eventually, they gave up and let him be, though he remained behind the walls, his new task in life to protect the family and avoid disappointing his parents further.

Pets: He often feeds and plays with animals but never actually keeps them as pets.

Beast:

Species: Yokai fox (Yokai (Japanese): demon, spirit, ghost.. Basically anything mystical)

 Name: Emi (beautiful blessing)

Appearance: Emi is a large fox-like creature with pure white eyes and mostly white fur, sporting black legs, tail ends, and face. Along her spine stick out dark maroon feathery ‘spikes.’

Reference image (not mine):

Abilities: darkness manipulation, healing magic and telepathy.

Story/extra: Emi is a gentle motherly sort of creature. She enjoys fun and games well enough but tends to be more serious, not afraid to put her foot down when others are getting out of hand. Emi doesn’t like violence and aggression, but that doesn’t mean she won’t fight to protect herself or those she cares for deeply. Emi tends to be protective of others, especially those she sees as ‘pups’ or children, getting defensive and aggressive to anything that would dare hurt the ‘children.’ She’s a terrible judge of other species' ages and often things anything that’s not closely related to her kind if a pup, mostly because at home she acts as her packs nanny, taking care of all the pups who are orphans or whose parents were gone for a hunt.

Other: Red pandas because come on, their just balls of clumsy fluff.

I'm planning on adding in another character whose already from this particular world. I'll add a bio for him once I know what type of world it is.

Oh, and I'm perfectly happy for this world to be Medieval style if that's what you prefer (and plot_twister is also okay with it). :3 Medieval would add another la
yer of crap already heaped on those characters from a more modern world whose used to the convenience of modern technology and transportation.~

Quick question: are there already 'mythical creatures' in this world? Such as griffons, kelpie, ect. or are the sages/scholars the weirdest things there are?

There can certainly be mythical creatures in this world but they would be very rare/possibly only scholars and the like know they actually exist and everyone else thinks they are stories? Though that is just my thought on this matter, what do you guys think?

I'm honestly not picky.~ I as just trying to think of a way to introduce my other character and what they'd be. I was thinking something along the lines of a shapeshifter or were-creature who'd been run out of his homeland by the Storm. But I could also maybe have him be a human convict of some sort, sent with this group as a kind of guide for the world? If he died on the journey, then who cares since he's a felon.
Which would you prefer?

Honestly I like either idea, perhaps it could even be a combo of both? Such as he was run out of his country by the storm and was perhaps caught and arrested for some reason?  Then forced to be a guide? Likewise you can leave him as human, start him as some sort of creature or even have him turned into some sort of creature by a monster that escaped the storm.

By the way, there will be strange mutant creatures lurking within the area of the storm. Perhaps creatures spawned by the storm itself or even resident people and animals who where unable to escape and got mutated by the storm

Oh, I like it! I think I'm going to go with him having been a human who'd run from the storm but had been bitten by one of the mutants who'd come from it, causing him to change. I'm thinking into some sort of were-cat creature. Which is why he was arrested, because he's obviously not human and a product of the storm.

That sounds like an interesting character too me and it may lead to some interesting plot bits such as the government hiding the fact that they know people can get turned into monsters there or something or that they already suspect that the monsters in the storm may actually be victims who did not escape or something but I will work on that idea more tomorrow sadly I have to call it a night for now but I always welcome any ideas or suggestions on that subject or others in the rp

Humanoid Creature
Name:
Thiago Demirci
Age:
29
Gender:
Male
Species:
Well, he was a human...
Now he's more of a 'monster' hybrid from the Storm
Relationships:
None, Open
Orientation:
Bisexual
World:
He lives in the world all the other characters have been dragged to. However, Thiago was from the neighboring country that's been all but obliterated by the Storm.
Personality:
Thiago, at one time, was easy-going and work orientated. Having grown up on a small farm, putting in a long days hard work was essential to survival and Thiago understood this. Relished it even. He had two younger sisters to look after, as well as an ailing mother, and what little free time he had was spent looking after them. Family had always come first for Thiago and loyalty to what really mattered was a large part of his morals. He was quick to smile, though naturally shy and tended to blush easily; much to his horror. All-in-all, Thiago wouldn't hurt a fly.  Or any animal for that matter. He loves all creatures and has a hard time imagining anyone hurting something for no reason. Sure, he's killed chickens and cows for meat, but it's always been fast and painless.
Now, however, things are very different. After the Storm blew through and destroyed everything Thiago had ever known and loved, he's much more timid. He won't meet anyone's eyes unless he has too, and will take whats doled out to him without complaint. Even if it's rocks being slung at his head or metal shackles placed on his wrists for simply existing. He knows he wrong now, hates what he's become and is ashamed to have let it happen. But even more-so, he hates himself for continuing to live when his sisters don't.
Appearance
:
Overall Thiago's shape is that of a human, there's no mistaking that. He's roughly 6'0'' with lithe, defined muscles that were not there before. He's learned his can jump further, run faster, and lift more then an average human, which explains the sudden muscle. His face is angular and sharp, with pronounced cheekbones and jawline. His nose is, strangely, a bit 'flatter' then that of a normal human; almost reminisce of the bridge of a feline nose. His once brown eyes are now bright gold, with slitted pupils. They also glow in the dark and his night vision is much better then a humans. As is his ability to smell. Thiago's ears are pointed slightly now, with furry tufts on the tops. His hair is the mostly the same, slightly wavy, cropped short, and dark black. There are a few small streaks of silver-ish grey throughout, though.
Other then the obvious facial changes that cannot be missed, are other additions. The one that bugs him the most is the thick, short 'mane' of soft fur that runs from his hair line and down his spine. Not only its is extremely uncomfortable to be covered with a shirt, but it also is obvious even then. Only a heavy jacket hides the fact he's got fur. The mane runs all the way down his spine and extends roughly two inches in either direction towards his ribs/stomach. The fur matches the hair color is is also streaked with silver-grey. It ends at his newly acquired jaguar tail, which, drags the ground if it's not curled up a bit. The tail is the same colors as his mane, but the underside is a bit lighter and there are noticeable rosette spots that can also be seen in his other fur if looked at close enough. Not that he likes anyone to be that close, mind you. Another change he hates is his feet/legs. Not only does he now have claws on his toes, but his feet actually look more like paws now, with a backwards ankle and all. Sorta like tle="Sorta" target="_blank">this but more feline, and the only fur on them is right at the back of the 'ankle'. Typically Thiago keeps cloth around as much of his 'pawed feet' as he can to mask them as much as possible. This and his mane are what he's physically most ashamed of.
Thiago also had claws on his hands, which he's extremely grateful didn't alter any; other then the claws of course. There are also black rosette spots dotting his body, with smaller ones around his eyes, a few larger ones on his shoulders, and then tapering off down at his waist. His outer thighs also have some, thought they end at his knees. Over-all he's definitely weird to look at, especially without a shirt, and his feline traits are glaringly obvious even at a quick glance.
Though only 29, he's gained some of the same silver from his mane and tail into his beard as well. Add that to the new stress lines in his face and a overall more haggard apperance due to circumstances and he looks older than he actually is. More like he's in his mid- to late thirties.
I gave up and attempted to draw him. tle="Thiago" target="_blank">Thiago
History:
Thiago grew up in the neighboring country of Asi, on a small, family-owned farm. Most of what Thiago's family had came from the land and their animals, as well as what they could sell. It wasn't much, but the warmth of family was enough for all five of them. Thiago's primary duties were out on the land with his father instead of in the house. Herding and sheering animals, planting and harvesting the crops. He was happy to do, though it was hard work. With his bits of free time Thiago would take his little sisters out into the surrounding forest, teach them to swim, read to them, and generally act like any big brother should. His sisters were his world and he loved them dearly. His mother had attempted to get him interested in some of the girls of the nearby village, not wanting him to end up alone when they passed and his sisters eventually married out as well. Thiago, however, had only a little interest in women, or men though neither his mother or father ever learned about that, and preferred to stick close to the homestead.
Then, late one night, the animals of the farm began causing enough of a ruckus that he and his father had to leave the house to try and calm them. The cattle had already escaped, and Thiago's father went to try to wrangle them back in while Thiago tended to the panicking horses. It was the last time he'd ever see his father. Thunder had shook the ground while odd colored lightening tore open the sky. The rain, as it had fallen, had burned like acid against his skin. But worst of all had been the howling that accompanied the freak storm. Like demonic hounds risen from the underworld; unearthly. When his sisters began screaming Thiago had forgot about the horses and ran from the paddock and towards the house, wind whipping at his hair and burning rain making it hard to see.
The howling continued on, some deep in the woods while others came from the house, loud enough to be heard over the crashing thunder. But not loud enough to drown out the girlish screams. Having skidded in the mud at the front porch, he'd been about to throw himself at the front door when his sisters went eerily quiet, the monsters abated into wet snarls. Heart racing, Thiago had called out for his sisters, pleading internally to hear one answer. Nothing. As soon has he'd opened the front door something barreled into his chest, gleaming red eyes hungry. The two had gone sprawling into the front yard and before Thiago could do much of anything about his prone position the monster had tore a chunk of his shoulder off with pointed teeth. After, Thiago could not remember much of anything at all. Only pain and heartache.
The storm the next morning had not calmed, but it was still bright enough to see. Something was very different, though, about himself as well as the world around him. Physically he looked very little like himself and more like the creature who'd attacked him the night before. Like the creature who'd slaughtered his family. Thiago didn't need to go into the house to know his sisters and mother were dead. The eerie quiet and bloody footprints of monsters leading out were testament enough. His father likely bore the same fate. Thiago's only saving grace that day was Katya, his horse, who'd been standing inside the paddock still - shaken but unharmed. Still to this day Thiago's not sure why he didn't die alongside his family, though he wishes he did, but he knew he needed to warn someone, tell those who'd not been infected what he'd witnessed so maybe he could feel some measure of peace for not being able to save anyone. After he'd been arrested for being a monster, someone who'd been infected by the storm and was no longer human, Thiago was sure that his life was over. And he was okay with that; he'd get to see his family again.
Now, though, he's not exactly sure his part in the scheme to unleash other monsters to fight those of the storm. But he knows he's easily sacrificed and is ready for whats to come as their guide.

Pets:

So those four vials full of liquid I mentioned, they could literally be anything, poison, curses, strange spells, acidic substances, healing potions, explosive substance ect. Whether or not your character uses it is up to you but I do request that you all give it some thought and figure out what you want them to be. Also our characters will have no idea what they are so whether they choose to use it on themselves or an enemy may or may not have disastrous results :P

My four:
One time shape shift
Poison
Healing potion
Anti-gravity spell
