Sorry, guys! DX I've been sorta busy lately but I'm back now. :)

The clear sky was turning a brilliantly light shade of orange as Kallista walked through the thick woods, all alone. She shivered lightly and rubbed her thin arms, trying to warm them, as a fiery red leaf floated down from an oak tree and fell into her hair. Sighing, Kallista pulled the leaf from her long brown hair and examined it before letting it drift back to the chilling ground. "I love this weather," the girl said to herself, smiling casually. You would have thought that she was just a regular girl at first glance. She wore the clothes that were in style and loved to apply makeup to her larger-than-average eyes. Seeing her, you'd think that she would probably be one to flirt. Attractive but reserved. All normal qualities you'd expect from a teenaged girl. Except, of course, for her spotted cat ears and tail.

At the edge of the forest, Aeron laid against a fallen tree in his human form. Having kept his ears and tail, it made him look rather odd. Or, at least, he thought so. He lifted his head, looking over at the small town not too far away. At least he could hang out in the woods. It was one place where he wouldn't be bothered, and the other animals didn't really mind him. Aeron's ears twitched, as did his tail, and then they were gone. He'd learned how to do that not too long ago, but it wasn't as if making them disappear would save him many confused glances.
