people come and people go. friendships are made,
and lovers break their own hearts. and there is a time and
a place for all of this to occur. different rooms, different venues;
that is what all lives consist of. different rooms, and the people
who are in them with us, and the things they say and do.
and we find ourselves returning to these same places, for one
reason or another. to remember, to forget. to feel what we felt
on days before. this is the story of one such place; where old friends
come together and new relationships are built. this is the story of
The Pale Rose Cafe.
it is a charming little place. brick on the outside, adorned with
white and peach colored roses. it has a classic, vintage appearance.
and it has been in the town for as long as anyone could remember.
more interesting than the building are the patrons who frequent the cafe,
and the employees that help bring it to life. the story will focus around
eight very specific people; four ladies and four gentlemen. cliche? perhaps.
but there is a certain romanticism that comes with the arrangement, something
that draws out our inner sentiments. these eight individuals know each other, of course;
friends , exes, rivals , acquaintances. and now comes the time for them to
reconnect, or change the entire dynamic of their relationships.
all within the Pale Rose Cafe.

other : Appearance: Alvin stand a little over average height for a fully grown male and is rather proud of no longer being the short kid like he was in high school. This also gives him the opportunity to look just about everyone he meets in the eye to watch how they react and learn more about how other people perceive certain stimuli.Alvin has slightly tanned skin with dark green eyes and darker brown hair. His build is more lanky than anything, since his focus has been put into schoolwork and the like.His hair is long enough to reach his shoulders but is usually kept pulled back out of his face by various hairties of varying colors and sizes. Basically he just uses whatever he can find. More convenient when he's looking over things and keeps his hair out of his face when he needs to focus on mixing drinks.As for clothing choices, when not in uniform (which looks decently good on him actually) he chooses to either wear sweatshirts and sweatpants when relaxing at home or hoodies and jeans when going most places outside.Oh also he wears glasses when he's reading. Black frames in rectangular shapes. And he has an embarrassing heart-shaped birthmark on hi left hip. 8)

● read all of these please. they're not hard.
● this is considered lazy-lit. so proper grammar and punctuation, please. third person past tense ; "he/she went to the store." try to post about 2-5 paragraphs per reply. pretty posts are nice, although not required, but at least include your character's name in each post.
● try to include everyone. i mean it ! no one likes to feel left out
● send in your reserves, please. just ti
tle them something so that i can tell what it's for. no special secrets. although i would like a link to some samples, just so i know you'll be a good match. once you're approved, you can start
● plot plot PLOT! this is a character driven rp, so you'll need to plot. make it dramatic, make it juicy ! rivals, jealousy, and all that good stuff.
● be nice. follow res rules. all that good stuff.
● stay active, don't leave anyone hanging. if you disappear without warning and don't respond to anyone, i'll make your character available to someone else. but please don't join if you know you ditch, it'll really disrupt everyone else's flow :c
