"Don't panic and don't be afraid. I don't want to accidentally hurt you," He said and in one swift movement, swept her off her feet and up into his arms. Her thundering pulse beat against his frigid skin. He was sure to grip her as loosely as he could, knowing she wouldn't fall. He held his breath as he swept her up, but his need for air drove him to take shallow pants. Her smell wafted up his nose and he had to push his eyes tightly together and let loose everything in his mind to not attack her when she was so vulnerable. He opened his eyes, deep red with rage, but he smiled down at her. "Okay," He said, his breath ragged and his throat flaming. "Let's go,"

The run there had taken less than ten minutes because he traveled so fast. He dropped her down onto the ground and immedietly stepped back a good five feet. The wind blew toward her, blowing her scent away and he gulped in clear, fresh air.
