Avalia sat up suddenly, the water was calling to her, which wasn't that unusual. She often took night swims. It wasn't as if her dad cared, he was to busy writing his book to notice her anymore. "Dad, I'm going." she heard a slight grunt from the drawing room and slammed the door behind her before racing to the river again. She waved hello to the indian and went farther up the rive for more of a swimming challenge.she saw a sopping wet guy who seemed solid. "Are you okay?" she asked without thinking and then realized it was the boy from before and smiled, remembering her late mother's words...

Scowling, Mukura glared at her. It was the same moronic, self-centered girl from before. ''Yes, I'm fine.'' He said, his voice slightly prickly. He heard a noise, and looked up to see something... unnatural. A figure of a man, only just, stood ten feet above the ground on a branch. His body was nothing more than ragged shadows, no skin or clothing to be seen. His eyes were nothing more than glowing red discs, and his mouth was simply a hole where the darkness thickened, if that was possible. Mukuras eyes went wide. This was a demon, yes, but much more than just any ordinary one. This one meant business. ''At least, for now. If you want to stay fine, if I were you, I'd leave. Now.'' The demon knew Mukura had seen it, but if this girl left, it might leave her alone and just go for him.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

"I'm not as weak as you seem to think." She said in a calm voice, staring into the demon's soulless eyes. "In fact, as your elder, I suggest you leave before things get ugly." she may not have been the best liar, but her fighting skills were exceptional and seemed to even affect ghosts for some strange reason...

''No, listen to me. This... this is no ordinary demon.'' Even as Mukura said that, the red eyed creature waved black ragged shadows of arms at its sides, before shooting forth daggers of darkness, straight at the pair of kids. One was aimed straight at Avalias stomach, while one struck Mukura before he could stand up. He clutched his shoulder, where it had hit, his face contorting in pain. The dagger of darkness was nearly touching Avalia now.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

"Is any demon ordinary?" She wondered with a slight chuckle. she'd been threatened by demons before and this one was no different. "Come on, shadow daggers, yo ucan do better than that." She taunted, bouncing on the balls of her feet...

The demon smirked, if that were possible. Rasing its ragged arms upwards, a cage formed itself around Mukura and Avalia, impenetrable bars of shadows surrounding them both. ''Great... look what you did now...'' Mukura muttered, standing up. He released his shoulder for a moment, looking at his hand. It was soaked in blood. The red liquid trickled down his arm as well, his torn shirt doing little to hold it in place. He put his hand back on his shoulder, trying to stop the bloodflow a little.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

((I wish Avalia and Makura had powers XD)) "Don't worry, it will all work out." She smirked at the demon. "A cage, so now your a coward and a demon. Those two things really shouldn't be able to work." She hoped and pleaded silently to the sky that her plan was going to work. She had seen the choir teacher walkign down the road and knew that an angel had a better chance of beating a demon that she did...

He practically hissed. ''Are you trying to get us killed?'' As he said that, the demons eyes glowed even brighter. Staring at them, its dark hole of a mouth twisted into a gharish smile, it flung forth more ragged shadow daggers between the bars, all headed straight at the two kids.

"Drop them!" Suddenly, a brightly colored woman flung herself between the shadow daggers and the cage which exploded. Avalia folded her arms and stared at the boy with a smug look on her face. "Begone demon!" The angel shouted...

''Shutup.'' Mukura said in response to the smug look. The demon wasn't about to be thwarted, though. As the angel got in its way, it flung daggers and balls of shadow from all around them, striking them all in at once. Several went straight for Avalia, one of the balls hittingher in the back of her head. Had that been a dagger, she'd be dead, but as of yet, it would probably just bruise and give her a headache. A dagger struck the angels arm, and another ball hit Mukura in the chest, knocking him off his feet and winding him.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Everywhere the shadows hit the angel, they burst into flame and disintegrated, not bringing any harm to her. She lifted her heavenly arms and light burst from her body. A light so bright, Avalia shielded her eyed, ignoring the slight throbbing on her neck. The light made it so it seemed that they were encased in a lukewarm sun. "Where are your shadows now." The angel said calmly...

[[Ah, I thought it was unlike you. xD No problem. :3]] The demon tried to shield its eyes, but couldn't. It burst into flames, blocking out all light in ragged shadows for a moment, before returning to normal. Mukura stood up, blinking slightly from such sudden changes in the light. He still had his hand on his shoulder, even as he walked over to see if the other girl was ok. ''Hey. You alright?'' He asked, his voice slightly concerned, although not much.

"Peachy." She groaned and nodded her thanks to the angel. "Ummmm...Did you know I could see you?" Avalia wondered and the angel nodded and dissapeared in a flash of light. She rubbed the back of her neck with the back of her hand and felt the edges of shadowy burn marks. Three jagged lines, like waves, were the scarring that she knew would never go away. "How about you, you okay?"

Mukura replied, giving a slight glance to his shoulder, the shirt now stained a deep red. His chest hurt from the shadow ball, too, but he was pretty sure it hadn't broken any of his ribs. He wondered if the choir angel would act like nothing had ever happened, like she was human, and not one of those... different creatures.
