Basically I have this royalty x thief plot I super want to do and I figure giving it a shot on Res will be fun.
Here's how the rules are gonna go.
1. You must have a literate to advanced literate grasp of the English language. If you are struggling to form one full paragraph (5+ sentences), then you will not enjoy this roleplay at all and you should leave now.
2. If you insist on having detailed character profiles, I suggest you leave now. I will only do a picture, a name, and an age and leave the rest to develop throughout the roleplay.

4. You will play the princess, I will play the thief. If you don't like that, then you should leave now.
5. Expect to double up on characters every now and then. Your main character will be the princess, but there will be some 'NPC's roaming about that you can certainly control. The ones I name, however (Falk, Khamora, Arthius, and Malachai) you can't control. ;C They're my babies. ;C!!!
6. You can add your own little adventure if you want... Maybe clear it through me before you start them off on something big? I'm quite versatile, but some things I can't get back under control. xD
7. Before I accept you as my partner, you MUST show me an example of your roleplaying. I'm only accepting one partner for this plot, so I'm looking for a certain kind of partner who I know will work well with me.
Now, here's the plot.
A caravan of performers arrives for a grand celebration of the King and Queen's marriage, and their daughter's 18th birthday where she will take over the royal duties of the kingdom and rule in her parents' stead. An overwhelming task for one, but the King and Queen have raised their child well to do the task. Despite the pampered life the princess lead, she was also forced to learn many things and do many things she didn't want. So it was only natural, in her ignorant state, that she would want to learn more about the outside world other than in books... she wanted to experience it...
As celebration of the King and Queen's retirement from rule and their daughter's inheritance of the throne, they commissioned the world-renowned troupe to perform for their kingdom on the night before her coronation. Unfortunately for the royal family, the caravan is a troupe of thieves and they have their eyes set on the royal gem: The Summoner's Heart. The gem is positively invaluable. It has been around longer than anyone can remember and has been passed down in the royal family for countless generations. When a royal child is born, the pendant is given to the child as a ward from evil and harm. Of course, the belief is strictly superstitious.
In an attempt to attain the Summoner's Heart, one thief sneaks into the castle, but is met with the young princess. Of course, the thief disguises himself to be a troupe member simply lost in the castle to avoid her running away. However, once the princess realizes this, she begs the thief to take her away with the caravan, the duties of being the ruler are too much for the princess to handle. While pleading with the thief, the Summoner's Heart is revealed upon the pendant dangling around the princess' neck, thus complicating things greatly for the thief. Rather than stealing it and implicating the caravan and thus ruining their lives, the thief agrees to take the royal family member and they slip off into the night to the rendezvous point with the caravan... and that's where Hell breaks loose.
