"Oh no, not fun!" gasped Alex, pretending to stumble, then pausing and pushing Eulalia back, "You know I can't let that happen." By now, they had reached the edge of the forest, and were now entering the park again. "Where now?" Alexander asked, looking back at Eulalia.

"Yeah, I suppose so..." Alex suddenly didn't know what to say. Something about Eulalia made him nervous, but not in the alarming way. No, just the I'm-never-gonna-get-these-butterflies-out-of-my-stomach kind of way. He looked at the ground, trying to shove away the blush that heated his cheeks. It was a nice day. Perhaps he could distract her with talk of the weather...was that too lame? He suddenly sighed, realizing that he hadn't ever felt like this before.

((Hah. xD Just as I started typing this the song Eulalia came on. What a coincidence! xP)) Eulalia stared at Alex quietly while he looked at the ground. She quickly came back to her senses and looked away before he could catch her staring. She cleared her throat awkwardly, at a loss for words. Alex's sigh caused her to look at him once again. "Sooo..." She muttered to break the nervous tension.

Alex laughed nervously, looking up to see that they were near Eulalia's street. His stomach rumbled, embara.ssingly loud. An idea hit him straight in the head. "Do you want to go out to lunch, maybe?" He asked, nervous again.
