Damien took a deep careful breath. "It's ok. I heal fast." He said as he attempted to stand strait. He crouched back over at his failed attempt, but it didn't hurt as badly as before. The healing process had already started. "We can't stay here. Unless you'd like to be the next monsters dinner." He said only half jokingly. Damien took AJ by the wrist and started walking, not even glancing back at her.

Aj sighed, "WEll traveling is going to make your injuries take longer to heal but if you insist." she was starting to warm up to this stranger, he HAD saved her life, even if he had also sort of kidnapped her.

Damien smirked under his mask-like collar. He didn't know what to think about AJ. She was probably one of the richest teens on earth, yet she wasn't as annoying as he expected. She wasn't really annoying at all. After they had been walking for a while, Damien was walking perfectly fine, and besides his normal slouch, he was standing pretty straight.

Aj looked at Damien without turning her head, "So you do heal quickly. What else can you do?" She asked. A little bit of her felt as though she were dreaming, but her dreams were never this long, or this vivid.

Damien looked back at her. "We'll, I have abnormal strength, extreme vision and I can suck blood. Nothing special." He chuckled. He looked around. "There's a cave near that we can camp in for the rest of the night." Damien explained as he spotted the cave.

"Blood. Yummy." Aj grimanced, "And I thought my school lunch was awful." She looked toward the cave and shuddered. A night in a cold, damp cave with a vampire. Not exactly an ideal night. ((Sorry for such a fail, in a hurry)) |

Damien rolled his eyes. "I bet you've never even tasted blood." He walked into the cave. It wasn't a very large cave, but it was big enough to fit the both of them with extra space. Damien made sure there where no snakes or other poisonous creatures that could threaten AJ's life.

"I think I'm good with human food." Aj replied, sticking out her tongue. She wrapped her arms around herself, "could we get a fire going in here? I suppose you don't feel the cold, but I'm just a mere mortal over here." she said, starting to shiver a little.

Damien smirked under his mask-like collar. "Oh, humans and their high maintenance." He teased. He walked out side and went to the nearest tree. He round-house kicked it, causing it to tumble over. Breaking off a few large branches, Damien walked back to the cave and tossed it to the middle. After a few seconds, a fire had begun.

Aj raised one eyebrow, "You never cease to astound me." she said with a laugh, sliding closer to the fire. After just a few moments, she had already begun to feel warmed by it. She looked over at Damien, "Do you feel the cold?"

"Of course." Damien looked into the fire. "I feel everything you do. I can just bare it more then the average human." he turned to face AJ. "Hell, I could live in a blizzard with just short sleeves." He chuckled.
