Finally her pelt started to relax and she stood a bit taller, not like the ready to attack crouch. "I think I can manage," she replied. All I have to do is crawl under that huge fern, like he did. Going into a stalking crouch, Alell crept under that leaves. Letting out a gasp Alell chirped, "Paka! Look at this bug!" Suddenly flipping dirt at Paka, Alell came back out and pointed with her tail. There was a long many legged insect (centipede.) "What is it?" She asked.

"Centipede. They get quite annoying, which is why we used to switch from tree to ground every few nights." Kottur's voice rumbeled.

Paka walked over and sniffed, "Not one of the poisonous ones. Another readson we slept in the trees."

Alell squawked as she flew backwards into Kottur, “It’s not going to eat me is it?” Shrinking into herself so she was a smaller target as her pelt prickled with fear. “I think I don’t want any of that moss, I want to sleep in the trees.” As she spoke, Alell looked up a.ssessing which tree would be best. I wonder if Paka will join me, I know that Ritsika isn’t comfortable in high trees so much. Spotting a Salix babylonica, Alell purred with delight. This weeping tree is perfect for a nights rest. Prancing over to the tree, Alell climbed up with an experts ease. She had always felt so comfortable climbing trees.

Paka and Kottur rumbled with laughter, "No, of course it won't" Paka yowled. He Followed Alell into the tree and draped himself across a higher branch, "I love climbing" he stated simply, "I always have and probably always will"

Rolling her eyes, Ritsika groaned in embarra.ssment. Does that little cub have to be so dense? I'm glad somecat in this group is sane. Looking over her sleek back, Ritsika gazed at Kottur for a moment. Turning back around Ritsika picked up the moss Alell had left behind as began to make a nest. If there was a lake around here I think Aljan and Asher wouldn't mind defending new territory. She had spied many plump prey. Glaring up at those taunghting birds Ritsika thought, though I don't know about them. Looking over at the tree Alell had picked, Ritsika gave a toothy smile. Like normal the snow leopard was lounging in the tree as if it were solid ground and she was babbling poor Paka's ears off. Feeling comfortable at last, Ritsika did two small circles to the right then lay down. Tucking her paws under herself she rested her head on the moss and covered her nose with her tail. Closing her eyes, she faked an easy sleep. Only to peek through her lashes at Kottur. I wonder where he will sleep. I just hope I don't have another dream again.

Kottur snuck under a larger bush and pulled up a large wad of moss, spreading it along the ground he lay down on it, sighed, and murmured, "Goodnight everyone" before letting his eyelids droop down.

Paka listened to Alell's interesting story and commented, "How about a little sleep?" he stifled a yawn, "I'm tired."

Alell chriped with laughter. "Umk," yawning wide she yowled, "I think I need some too." Stretching carefully on her limb Alell fell asleep. Listening to the music of the new territory.

Paka yawned and sprawled out among a couple branches, his weight eveny distributed. He listened to the cirruping of birds and the shirping of crickets. This is my lullaby. He thought to himself. What I listened to, to fall asleep when I was just a cub.

Dawn twinkled down on Alell. Blinking her eyes a few times, she slowly got to her paws. Looking down she judged the jump. Too high to jump from here. Moving down branch by branch she suddenly stopped. Looking down again she saw her paw. The crimson-gold streaks of light morning sun were reflected onto her pelt. Turning her usual silver dusted pelt into a mix of reds and gold’s. This is beautiful! Glancing up at Paka, she gapped in awe, and almost fell. Paka's pelt was turned into a brilliant sun-kissed gold with black and scarlet accents. He stood out against the jade-green foliage. What would it be like to live here? Alell thought for a moment. Turning back Alell leapt to the ground and purred when she landed silently. Stalking over to Ritsika she nuzzled her adoptive mother. "Thank you for bringing me with you on this adventure." Alell murmured with affection.

Paka awoke to the grat light of dawn and saw Alell nuzzling Ritsika. Stretching out he lept down a couple of branches before landing on the soft, green, ground. He yawned and licked his lips, "I'm thirsty. Anyone want to come to the **Springs?"

Kottur stretched out and shook his body, ridding the green moss from his pelt. He had awoken just soon enough to hear Paka ask, "Abyone want to come to the springs?" He roared out, "I'm parched. I'm coming wiht you." He turned to Ritsika and asked, "You coming? It is on the way to our monsters"

Ritsika nodded, her own mouth was as dry as the lands they just came from. "I could use a drink right about now." she chriped as she blinked at Alell. Getting to her paws she shook as well. Looking around she wondered where the springs where. I hope it's not far, I'm still tired. Taking a deep breath she almost coughed. The air was so thick here that she guessed this is why she was so tired. Alell seems fine with it so I will get adapt to it soon enough.
