CLICHE SUPERNATURAL/MAGIC SCHOOL

aka. Academy for the Dangerous and Sexy

Welcome to ADS, our esteemed private school accommodates over 1000 children.
This is such a private academy, that no normal children attend out ancient school; rather, you have to be of some supernatural background, or a magic wielder.

Our internationally renowned school offers a range of different subjects; catering to every type of child attending.
The dormitories are dictated by sex, and there is a large kitchen, situated on the first floor at the back.
The kitchen is accessible by all students and teachers.

The academy has servants to clean up the place; all of them human.
Our students are all assigned a servant to them when they are enrolled; also human.

~

That was literally as cliché as I could stand to write myself.

But yeah.

So Secrets, how're we doing this?

Male x Female?

Female x Female?

Male x Male?

Who will be the female, or the male if we do that one?

(Whoo another rp :D)

Ooc; I hope you're okay with me not using a bio. I can make one if you really need it.

Knox heaved her trunk to the foot of her bed and grasped for the knobbly wood of her new bed frame. Her angular cheeks puffed in and out as she slouched against the edge of the bed. Her weight rested on one hip. Stress was knotting up in her belly and although she would have gladly closed her door to the rest of the world, there was still the prospect of meeting her new roommate. She wondered why the girl wasn't there already. Surely Knox, having been twenty minutes behind schedule, would have been the last one to arrive to the room. Still, the small cot at the other end of the equally small room sat untouched, no boxes or trunks or anything in sight.

Dreogan entered then. He was a wiry fellow, with tousled golden hair that glowed silver in the moonlight. His artistically sculpted face and regal features had to do more with the bloodsucker DNA that worked through his veins than anything else. He appeared to be in his early twenties, not nearly looking old enough to be Knox's father, despite the (somewhat) obvious fact that he was. They shared the same almond-shaped eyes, dainty, sculpted features, and lithe, wiry bodies. Knox's hair was also the same golden color and stretched down to her midback.

"Father, is this really the best idea? I understand the Academy thinks it can help me, but being around these people...having a roommate..." She trailed off and Dreogan held up a hand. His lips were a thin line (they always were; the man never smiled).

"You will not be having a roommate until the Academy deems it's safe," he said.

Knox's lips trembled. Already, she was being shut out. "The whole point of me being here is to learn balance! To learn how to control it," she said indignantly.

Dreogan whirled. "No, daughter, the whole point of you being here is to make you choose. You will not continue on this fantasy of yours that you can control both forms. I am leaving you here because I have no other choice. I just hope you will learn and fix your mistakes before it's too late."

Knox watched him turn around. There was no hug good-bye, no heartfelt parting words. Her fingers balled into fists. A silver tabby cat rounded around the corner of her door, tail flicking as it regarded her. It jumped on the bed and rubbed its face against her hip. "It'll be okay, Knox. I'll be here," the cat said.

Knox lowered a hand on his head and scratched behind his ears. "I know, Beau. I know."

She rifled through her trunk and found a piece of paper. "Come on. Apparently there's an orientation going on in about fifteen minutes. Let's go.

((Oh yes heads up- my character is a bit of a powerful bum, although he is a sweet little butt and adorable, man. I don't need a bio :D It's fun figuring out what she looks like.))

Jason slouched as much as his body allowed, his lower body coiling underneath him; giving anyone the impression that he was about to strike. The brunette teenager sighed softly and ruffled his hair, uncoiling slowly. The dark coloured scales adorning his body from the waist down glistened in the light as he slithered through the grass and out from under the tree he had been situated.

Upright, he slithered past the girls' dormitories, passing by an open window where a pale skinned man conversed with a young girl before leaving the room. Jason paused as he saw the girl pat a cat and swore he heard the cat talk.

With a shake of his head, he slithered on. It wasn't his business. Slithering up the softly polished marble ramp installed for creatures like him, he opened the door to the male dormitories and with a wave of his hand, his trunk levitated off the ground slowly and landed with a soft 'oomph' on the end of his soft bed.

He shook his head again and slithered out of the room and towards the orientation room; he had volunteered to show the new students around.

It wasn't the first time Knox had seen other supernatural creatures, but it sure as hell was the first time she'd seen so many of them at once. Once she had walked out of the hall of her own room, she'd run into a group of other girls. The hallways were teeming with chatter and Knox caught snippets of different conversations:

"So you can, like, breathe underwater and stuff? That's so cool!"

"Yeah, my dad said it was funny when my mom found out--"

"Ew, I hate oranges."

She kept her head down, eyes at the ground, and hurried quickly past the others. They left her alone, too wrapped up in the excited buzz to ask her what her problem was. Beau trotted behind her for a bit, but once someone stepped on his tail, his form shivered and he decided to perch on Knox's shoulder as a small sparrow.

Walking around blindly wasn't exactly easy around this school. It was humongous, but eventually she found her way outside. More kids--some of them more creature than kid, she thought as she eyed some sort of fae creature to her right--were teeming on the lawns, but a lot of them were heading in a single direction. It was towards a large building with wide double doors. The bricks rose upwards at an impossible height and became the face of a clock topped with a spiral ceiling. A flood of students were entering so Knox slipped right in line.

It was breathtaking inside. The hallway resonated with a soft thrum as if magic lived inside of them. Beautiful wrought-iron candle holders had been artistically twisted into various shapes: dragons, knights, etc. Their eyes gleamed with blue candlelight.  The single hallway lead into a large room. At the far end of the room rose a circular stage where a strange-looking man stood. He had his arms behind his back, white hair falling just over silver eyes. He looked older than time, but at the same time could pass no more than eighteen years old.

She found a seat at one of the round marble tables. The tops were adorned with shimmering glass and she ran her fingers idly over the extravagant art while she waited. It didn't take long for the rest of the students to file in. Other people accumulated behind the man; some of them she could tell were teachers by the way they regarded the students. A few more stood off to the side, but she couldn't tell why they were there. They looked like students themselves. One in particular frightened her. She wasn't entirely familiar with Greek mythology (despite father's relentless schooling), but the names "echidna" and "naga" struck her when she saw him.

The man on the stage cleared his throat and Knox's gaze slid away from the boy. "Welcome, welcome, first year students," he said and then dipped his head to the rest of the crowd. He glanced over at the snake boy's group and said, "And some of our returning students." A hush fell over the crowd and the man stayed quiet for a few moments, surveying all of them.

"Here will be your home for the next four years. You will find yourselves here and learn more about your heritage and your capabilities than you could ever imagine. For some of you," he said and looked around the room. His gaze settled on Knox for a brief second, but it felt like hours to her. Her mouth opened slightly. "there is more on the line. Now, to help with this transition, you each have a counselor tailored to your needs. Your classes will begin tomorrow afternoon. There are rules each of you must follow and your instructors will go over these during your first class periods."

"For today, your only task is to get comfortable with the school grounds. Behind me I have volunteers to guide you around school. Everyone with last names A through K, please follow Angela. L through N please follow Roland. O through T please follow Jason. U through Z please follow Evangeline."

"As Headmaster, I wish you all good luck and good day." A few people clapped. Most of them were too nervous.

"I think that one's Jason," Beau chirped in her ear and pointed with one feathered wing to the snake boy. Others were already making their way toward their respective groups. Some of the students were leaving. Knox was tempted to follow, but she knew it'd only make her day harder tomorrow. With a sigh, she pushed her way through the crowd and somehow ended up standing right next to the boy himself. His scales were absolutely beautiful, the way they rolled in the candlelight. She couldn't even tell what color they were with the blue being thrown on them, but they glimmered faintly.

Knox's eyes shifted from gray to green. She didn't mean to, but when she blinked suddenly his aura was dancing in front of her. It was a light gray with threads of gold and green twining through it like some sort of hand-spun tapestry. Around her other auras pushed and bulged against one another, creating a rainbow of threads and latticework. She blinked again and it was gone.

"Welcome to the Academy, my name is Jason and I am a third year." He smiled at the group warmly. "I'm here to show you around the school. I have one rule while doing this: Do not step on my tail." He frowned as his tail twitched in remembrance. He shook his head softly with a chuckle and started to slither towards one of the large beautiful walls; away from the doors.

No one followed.
With a small frown, he turned his head and gestured for them to follow him with a wave of his tail. When the small group followed him cautiously with darting eyes; the half-snake boy waved his hand in a few circles; eliciting purple particles to emerge from his hand and shoot towards the empty space below a candle holder in the shape of a witch. Right before their eyes a medium sized polished acacia wood door appeared, and Jason smiled widely.

"Each candle holder holds a special passage way beneath them for different species. The dragon one lets in reptilian creatures, the knight lets in vampires, succubus's, and other blood favouring creatures. The witch allows magic wielders through it's opening." He smiled as he slithered through the thin, well-lit passageway, hearing the footsteps behind him. "Obviously everyone here isn't a magic wielder, otherwise their magic would have made them open the door as soon as they saw the candle-holders."

He turned a corner and the previously thin passageway changed dramatically into a large, green hallway; filled with doors. It had a wonderfully high ceiling, with many gold chandeliers hanging from it. The walls were adorned with many gold-framed portraits, all of them moving and chattering.

"The portraits in the Magic Hallway are able to move and communicate with each other and anyone in their eyesight. This will most likely be the only time you will be able to see the Magic Hallway as other people are not allowed in, otherwise this would be called the Hallway containing Magical things in it yet Other People are able to come in." He chuckled at his awful not even joke, and ruffled his hair again. "If you are found in any other Hallway but the one belonging to your type, you will be expelled and thrown out of the grounds immediately, with or without your luggage and familiars. Although you are allowed in anyone's dorms, of which the Magic wielders dorms are situated at the end of the hallway."

Jason winked playfully before turning through the door that had Dormitories written on it, and it opened into another hallway. He quickly slithered through and with a flick of his wrist the door shut with a small thump after everyone had gone through. His tail whipped back and forth as he made his way down the dormitories with everyone following, not pausing or hesitating at all as he opened another door and led the way into a large common room.

"This room is the Unnatural Common Room. This is where any creatures of evil creation can hang, get homework done, or just talk. Unnatural creatures include vampires, succubus', lamia's, werewolves, and others. Natural creatures can enter as well, but only with written invite."

The information was a tad overwhelming, to say the least. Knox lingered at the end of the group and she was sure the only thing holding her together at that moment was Beau. He crooned softly in her ear and she'd nuzzle her cheek against the top of his head as they followed the group. When Jason explained the doorways with the different entrances, she felt a knot tie in her stomach. She had stayed out in the hallway, gaze darting between the knight he'd mentioned and what looked like a dryad right across the hall.

"If you are found in any other Hallway but the one belonging to your type, you will be expelled and thrown out of the grounds immediately, with or without your luggage and familiars." Her stomach only knotted further. Surely there were cross-species here at this school like her. It wasn't the most uncommon thing in the world. Though what she was was indeed rare, it's not like they'd kick her out because of it. Her breath came in short hiccups.

"Knox, the group is moving. We don't want to get left behind," Beau said.

"Right, okay," she mumbled and scrambled to follow the rest of the group. They were in a common room of sorts. Some students were leering at them; one boy in particular followed Knox's movements as she walked into the room. He grinned at her and she caught a glimpse of fangs dimpling his lower lips. She shivered when he winked at her and his smile fell short.

A girl snorted at the far end of the room when Jason was done talking. "Written invite, my ass. No natural's going to come in here willingly to hang out with us," she said, which made a few others laugh.

"Some might," the boy from before said and offered Knox a half-smile, this time choosing to (thankfully) not flash his fangs. It was sort of sweet.

"Keep it moving, Jason. They're starting to smell sorta tasty right now and I skipped out on lunch," growled another. Some of the group members cringed and that only made the rest of the room break out into laughter again.

Jason laughed at their comments, but stopped when he saw that the group wasn't amused.
"Don't mind them, it's just their sense of humor." He soothed the group softly, before turning back to the group of teenagers in the room and winked, licking his lips; although out of the sight of the group. The kids in the Common Room laughed again, before watching the small group leave the room.

"Bunch of sooks they are." Said the first girl; to the general agreement of the room.

~

Jason shut the door to the Common Room quietly, leading them out into a very large beige coloured hallway, which had many students milling around.

"This is where we have some classes. These are mundane classes that you get in high school. Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Geography etc. etc. For your first year you have to take all 5 of those subjects, plus 3 other subjects according to your background." He sighed as he forced the kids in the hallway to move for the group. "In your second year you take 3 mundane subjects, plus 4 other subjects. Third years have to take 2 mundane subjects although you can choose up to 5, and 5 other subjects, though you get the choice to have up to 7. In your fourth year, you don't have to take any mundane subjects, but you can choose them, and you have to 5 other subjects, but you can choose up to 10."

"OI JACE." A short mean looking guy called out to Jason, and he turned towards the group with a wicked grin. "GET OVER HERE, SNAKE-FACE!"

There was a small group behind the guy, one which had glinting crimson eyes and Italian skin, a overly hairy guy, and another who had blinding white hair and elf ears. Jason beckoned them over, holding a hand up to silence the group for a moment. The group of boys came over and grinned at the kids.

"Jason, what are you doing volunteering for tour guide?" The white-haired guy asked, a regal sounding accent to it. The short one snorted.

"It's Jason, Morry, he'll volunteer for anything." He winked at the kids, managing to look intimidating even if he was half their size. The hairy one laughed openly at that, his laugh sounding like a bark.

Jason looked apologetically at the kids he was touring.
"Sorry about the interruption. This is Mordir, a night elf." He gestured to the white-haired guy, who lifted a hand slightly. "This is Stag, a battle goblin." The short mean looking guy grinned. "This is Lupin, a werewolf." The hairy one sneered, before smiling softly. "And this is Damien. He's an Italian vampire? That's right, yea D?" With a nod, the crimson eyed teenager grinned wickedly, long fangs glinting in the light.

Jason frowned, before shoving them away.
"Go away! You're all so ugly you'll frighten them, now shoo." He wrapped his tail around the stubborn goblin and flung him threw the air, the vampire catching him before he splattered against the wall.
"One day I won't catch him Jace!" Damien called out with a laugh, shaking his head as Jason slithered away with the group of kids.

"Now let's go to the Training Room..." Jason told the group, slithering through numerous hallways.

Knox had to admit that she was glad to leave the room. Of all the places this tour guide could have taken her, he just had to choose the bloodiest, most-well-known-for-their-evil-doings types of people to show the group around. Maybe it's to push us into a reality. Who knows. She smoothed out the non-existent wrinkles in her dress to give her hands something to do as they walked. Beau was getting antsy sitting on her shoulder and in any other given circumstance, Knox would have told him he could leave and explore, but she needed his support now more than ever.

When four new guys showed up, obviously friends with Jason, the group tensed up again. Knox observed them curiously, watched how they interacted with each other. It was by watching Jason with his friends that Knox realized he wasn't really that scary. In fact, he wasn't scary at all. He actually had a really nice, playful sort of smile. Her hand flew up to her mouth when he decided to fling his friend through the air, however.

The classes seemed interesting enough. No doubt her father had already scheduled her classes, considering she had no idea what she was placed in. He mentioned something about it on the ride to the academy, but she hadn't been paying much attention to him. "Beau, did father have my class schedule when we came here?" she said.

"Mhm. He left it on your desk in your room before he left." She wanted to ask whether or not he'd seen the classes, but she had a sinking feeling she already knew which type of supernatural classes he'd put her in. "Knox, you know there is only one way through this. Your father--"

"Hush, the group is moving," she murmured.

The Training Room was humongous. It was a giant gymnasium with various obstacles and practice dummies lying about. Some kids were practicing hand-to-hand combat on wooden dolls, others were using strange weapons on moving targets. Some of the kids were using them against one another. "I'm sure you'll be spending plenty of time here," Beau joked when Knox flinched from a too-close-for-comfort brawl between what looked like a werewolf and a fire demon.

"How long do you think the tour is?" she said, to which Beau shrugged.

Jason sighed happily when they entered the training room.
"So the Training Room is a free-for-all kind of room. You can come here anytime outside of class, and if you're in here after curfew that's okay, you won't get punished." He turned away from the group and started to slither away, before pausing and turning back to the huddled group.

"I've been told that this is where the tour ends, so you might want to go find which candleholder holds your dormitories. But if you like fumbling around in the dark with minotaur's patrolling then you can stay."

With that, Jason turned again and slithered straight over to the werewolf and fire demon wrestling. With a flick of his wrist they separated. He realized it looked like he was stopping the fight, so he stepped in between them and set them back on the ground. They shared a smirk, before flinging themselves at the Lamia, and with a smile, Jason used his tail to flick the demon off his feet, while using his hands to try and stop the werewolf.

He glanced at the still huddled group, and especially a pretty girl with a bird on her shoulder. With a quick wink, he turned back to the fight.
