We had so many great entries last year Rescreatu is happy to host our pumpkin carving contest again this year. Grab your pumpkins and join in the fun!


All entries MUST be Rescreatu related.


Unlike last year you guys will be the judges.  You will be judging on the following categories.

Categories
Most Creative
Most Intricate
Most Intimidating

Prizes
10 Million TU

Mutant Jaaku or Ebilia

Trophy

Everyone to participate will get a Forum Avatar,  Pro Pumpkin Carving Blade, and a Pumpkin Bomb.


Ends: November 1st at 11:59 pm



All submissions are property of Rescreatu.

Rules


1. Participants are to submit their entry here: {Link will be provided soon} before November 1, 2012 @ 11:59 PM.

2. Only one entry per user is allowed.

3. Entries must be related to Rescreatu.

4. Collaborations are welcome, but they count as the one submission for
 each user.

5. Props are welcome, but remember that this is a Pumpkin Carving contest.

6. Multiple pumpkins in one entry are welcome so long as they are part of a
 whole, contribute to one scene, etc. Feel free to ask when in doubt.

7. Please take the best quality photo you can.

8. Commercial stencils are not allowed, but the ones provided by Rescreatu are welcome.

9. After entries are submitted they will be checked by staff that all rules are followed before they are moved to judging.

10. Real and craft (fake) pumpkins are permitted to be carved.

11. No usernames should be visible on entries.

More rules may be added as necessary.

thread.  I will post all questions and
there answers here so you guys can find them easier.



 Please make sure that
the question you have has not been asked and answered already.


Question: May I ask exactly what would be classified as a craft pumpkin?
Say if I made a relatively pumpkin shaped piece of clay and carved that,
would that be counted? Or if I took a few peices of paper, 'carved' it with a penknife,
then put them together into a kind of pumpkin shape? Heheh thanks. :0

Answer: Cutting paper is not carving.  If you make a clay pumpkin you must actually carve it.  I know there are Styrofoam (or some material) pumpkins sold online and at craft stores for carving.


Question: Are we permitted to do them digitally?

Answer: No this contest is for actually carved pumpkins.  There will be another contest released soon for you to show off you digital art skills.


Question: Does it have to be created with the stencils provided? Or can I create something original?

Answer:  We would love for you entries to be original.  The stencils are only there if you guys want them you do NOT have to use them.


Question: Let's say you made it out of clay. Are there size requirements, 

other than the fact that you have to be able to tell it's a carved pumpkin?

Answer:  It can be whatever size you like.


Question: Can staff enter?
Answer: Yes, I dont see a problem with it.

Let's say you made it out of clay. Are there size requirements,
