A thing that has been bothering me greatly is the fact that the daily limit also counts towards selling shares..

Let's say I buy 50,000 of HOL in the morning, all is good all is well.

Uh my CAN is up to 100% profit in the evening? Let's say I have 200,000 shares of it. OH no wait I can't sell them. Tomorrow I'll be allowed to sell 1/4 of them, but who knows, they might've gone down by then.

I think the limit is a great thing, but you should just be able to sell everything whenever you want, because I think that limit counting towards both is unnecessary and really annoying if you want to actually make a profit :c

Omgyusplz SUPPORT.
this would be SO NICE to have because often I have 150k in a stock and it isn't doing well for me and I don't want it anymore and decide to invest in something else. Sometimes I just want to sell everything and start completely fresh in stocks.

If you could sell as much as you wanted, all the tactics involved would basically go out the window.  It's about taking chances with the limit.  If you think a stock you want to sell will go up after noon reset, then don't use up the shares in the morning.  Some people also buy/sell only 25,000 shares at a time no matter what so that if they want to buy/sell something more after noon reset, they can.

Long story short, getting rid of the sell limit would just take the challenge out of it.  It's frustrating, and not very fast but, well, I think that's the point.
