sorry if this topic has been discussed before. I'm not always around :P
Also I understand there is another thread on the same topic, but the focus of my post is be different from theirs.

If anything seems ill thought out or doesnt make sense, just let be know please. I'm terrible at putting my thoughts to words.

Anyway, over the past few years of seasonal egg hunts myself and a few others have found the newer, admitidly nicer looking, way to do seasonal egg hunts difficult to do and have been doing hunts less and less often, and as such feel really left out.

The current way is very busy, slow, monotonous, and forces you to stare at your screen or you'll miss an egg. Doing the egg hunt also runs the risk of getting eye strain and headaches from the constant sweeping motion of the eyes as you look across the screen for eggs.

Here are some potential fixes I've been thinking on. All are alternatives to the current hunt and not meant to replace it.

"Sky Hunt" / Eggs in Foreground

These are tentative suggestions, as they do make the hunt easier than normal, there is still the same chance for skipping an egg.
The sky hunt would just have the background sky image. Still in "might strain your eyes" territory, but still physically easier to look at for an extended period of time. And probably easier to implement. Eggs in foreground would be similar, but just keeping all the art intact.

Text Based?

I really wish there was a more text based version, that kept the framework of the Html5(?) version we have but haven't thought about this one much and have no idea how it would look.

For those who are unaware, seasonal creatu egg hunts used be gathered the same way regular eggs are now, yet you still had a 100 egg limit, seasonal or not.
Refreshing to page was easier on the eyes to me personally because I only had to glance at a single spot on the screen because of the bright orange banner that shows you've found an egg.

Creatu Fetch

A bit different.

Let's you have your currently selected creatu go on an egg hunt alone (maybe factor intellect threshold into this one to force gameplay). Takes pet off your profile for maybe 30m-1hr to get 1-3 eggs. You cannot hunt and send a creatu to fetch eggs at the same time. Not as effective as actually hunting, but still gives users with visual issues the chance to get a few eggs during the season.

still thinking of more ideas but here's what I have for now.

So much support! I absolutely love your idea of sending a creatu to hunt.

I'd also like to note that a handicapped accessibility option should be something the site offers anyway. Some of us are legally blind or close to it. Accessibility options that are built into whichever operating system we use are useless in hunts as they are currently, because it isn't going to interpret a picture into au
dio.Eggs that pop up traditionally, it can, because of the text notification.

Sending your creatu to hunt for seasonal eggs sounds like the best thing ever. It'd be cool if this was done kind of like hunting for glyphs and you could only search x amount of times per creatu.

I would love that so much. I love anything that gives me a chance to interact with my creatu. And yes, if intellect means a creatu gets more turns or has a higher likelihood of stumbling upon seasonal eggs, that would be great. :)

These are great ideas! Thanks for coming up with this suggestion!

I absolutely love the last option of sending your creatu out to hunt. While in most cases it might be less efficient (i once found 5 eggs in 5 minutes)  It gives an actual flat chance of eggs that while sellers might be meh about(again going back to my example..) for someone who is extremely ADD or simply doesn't have time would be a morality saver. Also more interaction with pets is always a good thing! Especially if it allows for more roleplaying.
