Searching Topics, or User names in Forums.

I have no clue if this has been posted before.

But in my opinion I think Res should put a search bar into the forums so people don't have to scan the pages for topics they've posted in.

 

 I hate posting in a topic then the next day have to scan through 5 pages to find that topic.

Putting in the search would allow some one to search the user name and all topics posted by that person would show up.

Or put in key words of the topic name, so all topics with that "Key word" would show up.

Would make posting in forums a whole lot easier.

I agree! I was looking at a story that Reddaysi wrote on a forum, and three days later I got bored trying to find it! Maybe they will listen to you and add that on to v3. (version 3)

One easy. Way of trying to find a topic or username or whatever is type CTRL-F on your keyboard and it will bring up a little bar on the top. Type what you want to find and it'll have the number of matches and even let you scroll through them! So basically, there is no need for this when you have trusty CTRL-F. c:

Oh! That's true c: It works for every website though. I use it all the time! =D Maybe on the Help Page they could put a "Need help finding something? Like a specific Forum topic, etc.?" And then answer with "Hit CTRL-F on you keyboard on the page in which you can't seem to find what you're looking for! Type in the name or topic you want to find and it'll find it for you!"
It sounds kinda silly xD I know...

And Katie, that doesn't work on Macs either. :c
