I'm not entirely certain what sort of shape the event itself would take, but there is a major possibility of adding effects or dyes to make pets look like various pride flags. I know trance is already technically a rainbow with the trance potion, but several shades of pink for lesbians, a bisexual effect, trans, nonbinary, aromantic, asexual,pansexual, there's so many possibilities!

Avatars are rather lacking in Pride merch too, and I can't imagine a few new shirts being too terribly hard to implement.

I'd be incredibly excited for a pride event personally, and I'd definitely be willing to pitch in real money if that sways any opinions. Plus summer tends to be a little short on celebrations, so June would be a great time for a new one!
