I support, although I think you need an ob ject, like if you wanted to zap a pet younger or older, you use the r-ray. Something like the Evil Wand or something? XD
Support! But.. i think it'll be better if the squishies weren't just changed into "normal" squishies? :) . It'll be nice to give them a little bit more in value.
Well, its my opinion, since for example; i dont want my special coloured[especially the rare colours!] pets to change and just be worth 1000+tu in the squishy shop... then theres not much point in changing them if i can buy a squishy cheaply in there. Still , Love your idea!
What if... as it is a voodu priest, only at halloween thing, the squishiys are vooduded? with pins stuck in them. As far as I know, the current voodu items are popular.
As for the name abuse,(The graveyard has already been mentioned.) Maybe if you applied a small fee? It would prevent users using it abusively, and It adds a second way for a creatu to 'kick the bucket'.

or go on a quest. You know, there could be item called a souless squishy or something and it can only be found at halloween. The quest is like the resurrection quest, you must find a souless squishy or something, an egg of the creatu's type and an alphabet squishy of the same letter that the pets name starts with.
then you go to the voodoo priest or whatever and he changes pet to squishy! he squishy has same name as pet but name becomes available again!
