But.

Can we have a restriction for the Suggestion and Ideas board? Like, your account has to be at least one or two months old (and possibly active most of the time)?

Reason behind this:

N00b suggestions like 'bring back the Omni' or 'new color plz' really pisses me off, and re-typing a reason and no support can really get on my nerves.

If a user is at least one or two months old they should know that a few topics are not open for debate, and may be able to find the reason why.

not hat0ring , but.

Support, but I would prolong the restriction for opening up Suggestions to the new users. Some people actually don't learn until half a year after they start up. xD Common sense doesn't really kick in that soon.

Maybe newbies could read the suggestions, but not post new ones until they're [insert number here] months old? Idk, just an idea.

Not all newbies are like that though. I've seen plenty of newer users around that seem perfectly sensible. o:

It's not really fair to lump all of them together because of one or two people.

Jenny: Gah, me too D8

Anyway, we could have something like, before a newbie is 2mths old, their threads have to be approved by a staff or something. To stop spam ._.

I have seen many 'Y NO OMNI BREEDING LOLOL' threads by newbies, or 'omg free stuff YAAYY' . ._. Mhm. Or maybe a filter

I believe they should take a test before they are allowed to post. Like all the res rules.

ipod: That would be a lot like Wajas, and too much like taking an exam. We want to encourage people to join, not discourage them. Although, this idea has already been suggested and there has been a reasonable amount of support for it. The thread can be found here. Or the one that was posted a few posts up.

A topic has been issued regarding topics not open for debate:

http://www.rescreatu.com/forum/cat/general/suggestions/topics-not-open-for-debate/~page/1/

I have also added a thread that lists the already-suggested ideas so that users don't make the same mistake of re-suggesting another idea:

 http://www.rescreatu.com/forum/cat/general/suggestions/list-of-suggested-ideas-so-people-don-039-t-repeat-already-suggested-ideas-/~page/1/

If you are unhappy about new users posting un-debatable content on here, you might want to suggest making that thread more 'seeable' or noticable instead.

I'm a newbie still, yet i was smart enough to read instuction. Maybe there should be a link straight to all rules when we join, siggesting we read these, not making, but suggesting it, or when they first click forums it suggests the link to rules, something like that, no test, only saying it be a better idea

No support.

Blocking off privileges to the Suggestions and Ideas forum would come off as supressing people's ideas. It's better to just float through the repetitive suggestions and the less favourable ones and let everyone have their say. What if there's a user who has a brilliant idea and they just joined a week ago? I don't want to oppress people just because of their age. We value suggestions and ideas from any person from any age.
