So I'm sittin here, browsin' these forums, when an idea forms in my mind. I mean, it's a trivial thing, but perhaps trivial things are just what we need.
Anyway.
You know on Youtube, or StumbleUpon, where you can 'like' or 'dislike' something? Why not add those to forum posts?
Like I post something, someone likes it. They'd be supporting whatever point I'd made, and if they wanted to add something to it they could post as well (like normal, lol.) The original poster (me) could click to see who liked it, but of course if we added 'dislike' it could be anonymous.
I-I don't know. Now that I look at it, it's not such a good idea. And there'd probably be buckets of spam.
Maybe adding a one-vote thing as well.
I still have not got a clue. I'm tired, hallucinating. Don't mind me. XD
Maybe only add this feature to the "Suggestions & Ideas" forum? Instead of a "Like" and a "Dislike" button, why not a "Support" and a "No support" button? :D
Well, not everyone's going to like you. That's a firm point right there. Rescreatu is a friendly site, though not everyone on here is friends with each other. I support, but only for the suggestions and ideas, because it might cause spam for the other forums.
Well, maybe there could be a button that allows to you mark spam. Like, if you click on the button because someone has been posting spam on your thread, it could get rid of it...? I dunno. I'm half-asleep and I'm giving terrible ideas. xD
