I am very upset with what has happened.
Here is my story.

A little while ago, I got a kitten for Christmas.
His name was Smokey, because he was a traditional grey point siamese.
I loved him to bits, as he loved me.
But little did I know, his little life would come to an end.
Before this story starts, here's what he looked like:
A cutie huh?

I can't belive I will never hold him again.
It was new year's day, and I was sleeping with Smokey on my bed. I was cradling him quietly in my slumber. He is my little alarm clock, with his beautiful meows,
telling me I couldn't miss my art clas.s.
I got up, holding him lightly. I let him go use his litter box, as I quietly got changed.
All of my family left last night, so it was home to myself once more.
I quietly slinked downstairs and turned on the radio.
Virgin 95.3
I hummed to the music as I made myself toast.
A little purr was heard when I walking over to the toaster.
It was Smokey, rubbing against me, very content.
I grabbed my toast, letting out a soft,Yow!
Smokey let out a little hiss, wondering what had hurt me.
Down came my four dogs, Robin, Marley, Buster and Cliff.
Marley, my german shepard, liked Smokey, and they were fast friends.
All of the dogs liked Smokey.
I fed tehm fresh food and water, and ate my breakfast quickly.
Before I knew, my art clas.s was about ot start.
I grabbed my purse, said goodbye and left my house.
I climbed into my car, and drove off.
It was hailing heavily, and I could barely see.
I was very stupid to go out in this, not to mention it wouldn't be open.
I smacked my steering wheel in frustration.
Rain smeared the glas.s, which meant wind-shield wipers were useless, on full blast.
Green-light.
I hit the gas pedal slowly, and I heard a loud tre schreech.
Behind me, someone had rear-ended a car, and the car that was the victim, was skidding toward me.
It was too icy to slam the break, but my instinct took over.
I slammed the brake, and the car leered over to the left turn lane, towards a 18wheeled truck.
I screamed, and did everything, cranking my steering wheel in every posssible direction to avoid the collision.
If I hit that truck, lights go out.
I hit the breaks again, and came to a dead stop, head banging the horn.
I picked my head up, rubbing it to make sure no concussion would come after.
I could hear a dim voice shouting, but my window was closed. A police officer banged on my window. He told me I was very lucky and I started to sob.
Another car hit the truck, and was killed instantaneously.
he told me not to worry, the person was very old, and was almost ready to die anyways. He offered a towing, but I refused. He said to wait a few mintues to wait for the pileup to be cleared. I did.
It took a while, but my phone started to ring.
It is illegal in Canada to talk on the phone while driving, but I was stopped so I picked the cellphone up and answered with a weak hello.
"Hi honey," a voice said, also very sad. I didn't like this picture.
"Mom--what happened?" I said shakily, my life couldn't get any worse now.
Ha! Boy was I wrong.
"Smoeky's gone!" she panicked.
"WHAT?!" I screamed.
My dad took over. "It's okay honey, we'll find him."
I was very angry, as frustration blew over me like a wildfire.
"I was almost killed in the last five mintes, and you tell me my cat went missing in this?!" I yelled. I could hear my dogs whining from the other end, and my mother crying. Click. The power went dead, as well as the light in the houses.
This is just grand!
I started my car and followed the traffic home.
I didn't know where my Little Smokey was.
I arrived as fast as I could, Running through the door in a hoodie and jeans.
With my Ugs on, I shook them off and looked through my house before I saw the note my parents walked to the local shelter.
I heard whining from a corner, as I snatched the flashlight, shining it on them.
The dogs were snuggled together, whining softly.
I heard a yowl in the distance, but didn't take care in to think that was Smokey.
2 Days later, a aged woman and man came to our door.
They carried a box, with sad faces. Probably begging for money or something.
I was home alone again, and my dogs beat me to the door.
I opened it a crack, "Is this your cat?" they said, flipping the box open,
Pain, guilt and anger twisted in my stomach. I managed to stay calm with only,
"Yes it is."
The man started to say, "We were driving today, and we say a cat lying limp on the road. We thought it was dead, but Helen still got out and checked."
Helen, his wife managed a slow, "Hi." I grabbed him out of the box and asked, "What happend to him?" it was very stormy out, so I invited them in.
"Could you tell me please?" I asked, wrapping the blanket around Smokey, mewling quietly.
"He was hit by a car, we think."
Helen said.
I didn't need any further words.
"Thank you." I said.
I led them to the door and said goodbye.
I grabbed water and food, with his cat carrier, and plopped him on the front seat.
"Don't die on me!" I sobbed.
Driving to the SPCA center, I rushed into the building with my drenched Ugs.
I sat in the waiting room while he was being treated, until a nurse invited me in.
My parents agreed to stay behind, since they wanted to talk over something.
I nodded to the nurse and walked to the treatment room.
"he will not make it." she said sadly. I sobbed again, as my tears fell on his pelt.
"I'm so sorry baby." stroking his fur gently. He mewed quietly, as I hgged him tight.
His head fell onto the metal table. Letting out on last mew, until his breathing faltered.
Smokey was dead.
I hugged him more and more, 3days ago he was jumping around happily.
Now he was in the golden gates of Cat Heaven.
I miss him so much.
R.I.P-Smokey
Too Young to die, and will always reside in my heart.
Just yesterday, when I almost crashed, the day before Smokey died, I found out that I had hit him.
WHen I was driving away from the driveway, he snuck out the door to say goodbye, and I hit him. On the road.
I am in so much guilt now.
R.I.P.
Now I will not rest until I obtain the name Smokey.

Ohmigosh. Eliv. I know what it feels like. <3 I feel for you.

Love is unconquerable. For love needs not the pleasure of outward beauty, as it takes great pride in the inward. Love needs not the cushion of luxury and riches, for lovers tend to grow closer in strife. Love needs not fame, for those true to love will not host greed.
