(Hello! This is basically a tragedy in which includes mainly my OCs and a few game NPCs.  Chapters 1-11 take place in Reiflem, chapters 12-15 take place in Atqueen Forest, chapters 16-22 take place in Scria, and chapter 23 is in my view point.  You can critique if you want.)

(9/17/2016, like nearly three years after this thread was formed--Sup, y'all.  It's me, the Original Poster, here to fix my sins.  Yeah, that's right, I'm revisiting this train wreck of a rookie writer's fiction.  So, I'll be editing my ideas, making additions from scratch, and opening this thread to comments.  However, I figure I might as well keep around the two or three old posts, just so curious people can see what my skills were way back when.  I'll also make a table of contents for you... eventually.
...And I'll be constantly regretting the fact of what my story's name is for the rest of my life, won't I?  God, I wish I could change it...)

Prologue (The old one!)

My name is Anneissaia, which means Hope and faith.  Most call me Anne, though.  I'm a blonde Veram.  I live on Scria, in a mansion in the Town of Loyna.  I share the mansion with my adoptive mother LiaMia, my charismatic Tesuri sister Alleria, my calm Zenirix sister Jaina, and my little Iluvu Brother Crowley.  I have plenty of other brothers and sisters, but I mainly hang in my Attic space in the Mansion.  It's way too big to be called a room.  I've got my writing space( east side of the attic), my greenhouse and kitchen(west side, and yes, we all get our own kitchen to make our breakfast in), the place where I keep stuff about my history(south side), and my bed(north side).  It is truly spacious, and and there is always some room left!  I didn't always live this lifestyle, though.  Once, on the Planet of Reiflem, there was two warring Veram colonies, fighting over who had what control over the pieces of the land.  I don't know how it ended, for I left in the middle of the war.  Yes, my birth family and I were caught in the middle.  I survived.
This is my story.

Chapter 1(the old one!)

The sun began to shine as I got up.  I stretched my legs and began to walk towards my parents' tent.  We were constantly on the run, trying to get away from the Veramra and Veramki colonies.  A flap protected my parents from most heat.  FOCUS.  The flap began to move.  Let me explain.  Most Veram are plain Veram, but not my family.  We were some of the "Blessed ones", or in our tongue, Magikko.  My mother was a Yer-Magikko;  a healer.  My father, he was a Gon-Magikko, or a Veram who could make the lava respond to him.  My eldest brother, Tobaui, was an Anki-Magikko, which means that he could turn invisible.  I am a Min-Magikko, so I have telekinetic abilities.  The second eldest brother, Tuntyo, was like my father.  After some thought, I finally got the flap to move.
"Yes, Daughter?" asked my mother.  "What brings you to our den?"
"Mom," I greeted.  "We should wake everyone else up.  You guys know that the Veramra are hot on our tracks."
A little more discussion.  Finally Mom agreed to wake everyone up.  Mom got out the required herbs--lavender, sage, thyme--and whispered something.  The herbs moved by their selves out of the tent, leaving an aromatic scent inside the tent.
"YAWN," my dad yawned.  "Well, Anneissaia!  What are you doing here?"
"Good Morning, Father," I said with respect.
"Good morning, dear," Mom murmured.
I left, wanting to see my younger brothers and sisters.  Tona, my youngest sister, a Gre-Magikko(a Veram who has power over the wind), ran towards me in excitment.  She tackled me with a Berrok-hug, and I struggled to get out of her surprisingly strong grasp.  Tuki, my younger brother, another Gon-Magikko, followed.
"Gah!" I said.
Tona giggled, "Tehehe! We got you!!"
Our middle sister, Kuberi, followed them, sleep still in her eyes.
"Tona, be careful with Anne," scolded our sister; she was the one member of our family who can make mist-objects.
"You gained a letter last night," I noticed.
"Yes.  I think dad should look at it," said Kuberi grimly.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

"We should leave quickly to avoid harm," concluded my father after reading the letter from his friend, Toaeo.  Here's what it read:

Dear Boite,
Danger is coming.  The Veramra are closely following you and your family.  There is an alleyway where we can meet and fight off these traitors to the Code of Reiflem!  It'll be morn by the time you read this.  They'll come at noon.  Meet us at the outward bridge by 11:00 a.m., and  then we'll be able to fight off the Veramra for once and all!
               Sincerely,
              Toaeo

___________________________________________________________________________________________

It was nearly 11.  We were running to the bridge.  Me and Tobaui were guarding the the rear of the family as we traveled there.  Suddenly, I heard a twig snap and had just enough time to send out a signal before an all-out attack formed.

CHAPTER 2(The CRAZY OLD one!)
I ran, Kuberi and Tobaui following me.  We couldn't wait much longer for the rest of our family to come.
"Tona!  We forgot Tona!" Kuberi yelled, just as we were half way across the bridge.

Prologue:

The girl with coppery hair is visibly excited when I've finished speaking.  Her gray eyes are sparkling with--well, hope seems most accurate.
"Anne, have you ever been told how much of a GENIUS you are?" she asks me while she smiles.  "I love that idea!  I think your book will be incredible!"  She then looks eagerly at the 4 other creatu(at least, it's four if you don't count me) at the table.  "Well?" she asks, a hint of expectancy in her voice.  "Don't you guys like it too?"
If anyone was going to immediately speak up, it was drowned out by the loud sounds of an apple being eating.
The culprit of this is Sylvanas, the Valabex whipping her pink tail from side to side in pleasure.  We pause our conversation for a few more seconds to watch her stuff her mouth with the salad and pizza we were having for lunch.  It takes her a few minutes to notice we've stopped talking and have just been watching her.
"...Huh?" she says when she looks up.  "Sorry, what were we talking about again?"
A sigh of exasperation comes from the seat on the Valabex's left.  "Jeez, Sylv," comes the annoyed quip from Jaina, the Zenirix's black fur bristling.  "We were talking about Anne's plan to write an autobiography, but then Lia decided to get us to all sing praises to her for doing this."
"Now, now, Jaina," comes the chiding voice of Alleria, the light brown Tesuri looking rather amused, despite herself.  "Please relax.  I know that Lia can be a bit forceful sometimes-"
This was met with a "Hey!" from Lia, which was entirely ignored.
"-but that is part of why we love her.  And, Anne," she stops and looks at me.  "We're all in support of you and your idea.  We think it's going to be incredible."
"Yeah!" comes the support from directly across my seat at the table.  Crowley is looking at me eagerly, happily, encouragingly.  "I know you'll be able to do it, Big Sis!"
Embarrassed, my tail wraps around me.  "Um, thanks, you guys," I say, ducking eye contact as I smile.  "I really appreciate your support."
This is met with a shared reaction by the rest of my family, one of general support and encouragement... at least until the clock chimes 1:00 P.M.
"Oh, CRAP!!"  Lia exclaims.  "I was supposed to check my auctions by now!  They've probably started closing it by now, I'm going to need to get the money from there fast!"  She jumps up from her seat and runs to the door, in a panic.  "H-hey, Jaina!"
"Don't worry, I'm coming, " Jaina, already walking toward the worried redhead, reassures.  "And I've made a mental list of other things we should do while we're out close to Reiflem,"  she says as the two leave the house.
After that, the four of us just remain there for a few minutes before we each leave to do our own things--Alleria and Crowley go to clean the dishes, Sylvanas decides to stick around and finish any food we hadn't, and I-well you can guess, I go up to my room to start writing.
Well, it's really more of an attic than one room, though, I guess it isn't to be thought that much of.
And at my desk is my typewriter, just where I left it, with the stack of paper and the silver shell beside it.  I grin, walking over to it, my mind already trying out ways for me to phrase the first couple of sentences.
And then, after I had sat at the chair for a few minutes in a blank silence, the perfect words just... flew into my mind.
Sighing a sigh of relief and impatience, I concentrate, and begin to write.
