Darkness.

To the utmost extent; a silent, secretive black cloak seeming to muffle life itself. The wind, howling piteously between the tree, callously pushing you away, away, deeper into the insidious hold of the unrelenting darkness.

And darkness . . . it's eerie, how the it appears to stare at you, a million invisible glittering black eyes watching your every move as if just waiting for you to fault. Rejoicing in the fearful, rapid thumping of your heart. Eerie how the darkness spreads a growing sense of unease; turning objects that seem harmless in the bright sunlight of the day to sinister beasts looming out at you.

Step.

Step.

You are spooked by the own echo of your feet, in the loud silence.

Step.

Step.

Deeper into the arms of the darkness.

((aah I bet this doesn't make sense tell me))

{I just dont know what to do xD}

Step. Step. Crunch. snap. jump.

Fallen branches and twigs break beneath his feet as the continued to walk into the inky black darkness that surrounded him. Nothing could be seen but small shadows of what could have been monster, but were most likely bushes or little trees. There was something lurking in the shadows, but what it was he couldn't tell. There was bound to be something in there, waiting for him to make a mistake and fall or injure himself. Easy prey. There was little that couldn't be in this forest. There is way too much that could be in here. He swallowed thickly and continued on his way, not sure exactly when he would get out of where he was even going. He let out a small whimper as the wind howled in his ear and the leaves rustled, making them sound like whispers to his already frightened senses. He continued at a faster pace, not completely running but not walking anymore. His heart pounded a mile a minute and his breathing was ragged and harsh, afraid to slow down or to even look around him. There was no light so there wouldn't be much to even make out of it.

A small crack was all it took to spook him. He darted forward, running until his lungs screamed at him to stop, which was when he nearly collapsed. He steadied himself and placed his hands on his knees, heaving breath after breath of fresh crisp air. Th sounds around him continued but there was nothing he didn't fear right now more than collapsing in the darkness. He quickly started walking once more, keeping himself slow. His legs protested and his lungs screamed at him. But he couldn't stop.

(omg that's awesome ru O.O)

My wide
eyes searched for a human presence in the dimness, but  I could not find a
single being. I was startled me when harsh knocks against the door echoed into the
silent night. I jumped in fright and fled like the hounds on hell where on me, concealing myself in a thin, stinking alleyway
not far to my right.

I watched the street wearily, my body pressed
against the brown, weathered, aged brick wall. But eventually I had been
overcome with curiosity and emerged from my hiding space, peering back into the
road.

Where you were.

Looming over a lanky but female frame sprawled at the entrance of the door you knocked on.

My door.

How my blood burned and turned hotter than a freshly made furnace. How rage built up and threatened to overcome me, a soundless scream not piercing the silence. Why did I not approach you at once and end your despicable life right then? That would have been to quick, too easy. You deserved much, much less.

So I retreated back into the shadows, vowing . . . vowing that I would make you pay. Pay hard.

Like I said in the SB, let's scrap this very-badly planned RP. New theme: vampires.

Backdrop or whatever-you-call-it:

Vampires. Feared and awed. The so-called sinister beasts that prowl the earth, sucking blood from innocent humans. Although stronger and faster and smarter than usual people, vampires are not immortal. It is difficult to kill them, but without that warm crimson liquid. they grow weak and incapacitated. So it's someone else . . . or themselves. Young Willow Oakley is ambushed on her way home and is drank from. She pleads with the vampire, and he takes pity on her. But her survival comes at a price - she will become a vampire herself, and be driven by her need for blood, to do devastating things . . .

So - do you want to be Willow Oakley or the vampire?

Sure.

My bio:

Name: Lake Lazaros

Age: 19

Personality: Lake is a rather mysterious character, who keeps to himself most of the time and does not trust easily. He is strangely compassionate for a vampire, though...

Looks: Lake is the perfect image of dark mystery. With midnight  hair cut in a choppy style, deep black eyes framed by heavy, questioning brows, Lake is a fairly handsome person.

History: Turned vampire when he was sixteen.

I feel uncomfortably hot and bothered. The sweaty sheets entrap my body. Groaning, I roll over in the sagging mattress and open my jammed-together eyes a fraction. Sunlight is filtering into the small grimy window to my left hand side. I curse under my breath and jump up, covering the distance between the bed and the window in three long impatient, slightly desperate strides. I bolt it tightly and draw the blinds properly, before looking at myself in the mirror.

I smile slightly in spite of myself. Vampires can show in mirrors, sure they can. But only if they are in sunlight. Since I accidentally slept in a smidgen of sunlight for a good few hours, my lean, dark profile shows up, but only faintly. I sigh as I examine the angry red blisters covering my skin. How could I be so careless as to allow sunlight to enter the room? Better still - why did I sleep all through the night? I told myself, a tiny energy nap. Instead, it's eight in the morning and I have to stay locked up in my room before emerging out at night to feed.

Which sucks.

And I'm hungry. Blood-hungry. When I'm hungry like this, I get weak and pale and my eyes go red. I can't risk leaving this few cubed metres. I cant even venture down the hall- it's annoyingly bright in this run-down B and B.

So I have to entertain myself. God, how I hate summer. Longer hours of brightness. Winter is much for fun. I can go out as early as four pm, and it won't even get bright enough to hurt me until about nine am. Now, I have about seven precious hours.

I open some random book I stole when I broke into some rich old guy's house ; delving into another world, waiting for the sun to go down in a good twelve hours.
