you fell for Toboe.Name: Marishka SachiA picture of your appearance:wolf form:Human form:Story: HEY IVE FOUND FOOD! Came the cry from a small brown wolf. Timidly I peered out from over the top of the rock I was hiding behind and my eyes widened as 3 more wolves approached. From my view point I could see them all and carefully I studied them. There was a large white wolf who seemed to be the leader, next to him was a large grey wolf with an X shaped scar on his chest, and beside him was another brown wolf, he was slightly smaller than the other 2 and had a collar. In front of them was the small brown wolf that had called out, he was a lighter colour than the wolf with the collar and had four bracelets on his front right paw. I felt my heckles raise as the grey wolf stepped closer to the carcass and timid though I normally was I growled and leapt from my hiding place, now standing between him and my food. Back off this food is mine, find your own! I snapped now aware just how much bigger, he and others where than me. The grey wolf snarled and took a step forward obviously preparing to fight but the white wolf stopped him. Its a very large carcass for such a small wolf, Im sure theres enough food for us all to have a bit! I turned to him my eyes flashing angrily, who did he think he was telling me what to do, even as I thought this I surprised myself I had always been one to run from fights and give up things easily. Do you know how long it took me to catch that deer? It took me 3 weeks just to find something thats god damn edible! I snapped and again the grey wolf snarled. Twirling round I pounced on the wolf with the collar who had tried to sneak behind me to steal the food, he squirmed trying to dislodge me but surprisingly I pinned him down easily and I looked at the others meaningfully as I leant down, my fangs at his throat. This food is mine, now beat it! I hissed, closing my jaw slightly as both the grey wolf and the white one stepped forward, reluctantly they backed off and slowly I let the collared wolf up, eyeing them warily. Fine keep your food then! The grey wolf spat bitterly as he turned his back on me. Slowly the small brown wolf stepped forward, his bracelets jangling and glinting in the sun, I watch him cautiously my eyes drawn to his eyes and the look of trust in them, the kind that you could hurt him and betray him as many times as you wanted and hed still trust you with his life. Please can we have some food, we wont take much we promise and then well be on our way! There was something about him, was it the look in his eyes? Or the way he spoke? I didnt know but something made it impossible for me to say no. Forget it Toboe, shes never going to give up that meat, just leave it and lets get out of here! The collared wolf said sighing as he turned and began to walk away with the grey wolf. Sure! I said simply, stepping aside aware that the other 3 where staring at me in shock. The collared wolf turned and took a step forward, and moving back in front of the carcass I snarled. I said he could, not you! WHAT?! Your letting him eat some why not us? He almost shouted in annoyance. Because he asked and didnt try to steal it from behind my back, fight me for it, or tell me what to do! I snapped, turning my back on them and walking over to the deer, sitting down and beginning to eat. As I ate I watched out of the corner of my eyes as the grey and the collared wolf slowly inched their way forward, the white wolf on the other hand simply sat there watching them for a moment before walking over to me. I apologize for trying to tell you what to do, it wasnt my placemay I please have something to eat? Smiling I looked up at him and nodded, glad that he had caught on. I smirked slightly as I saw the other 2 staring at me in disbelief out of the corner of my eye. Having caught on the collared wolf made his way over and after apologizing for trying to steal the food he too began to eat. Having had enough to eat I sat back and glanced at the grey wolf who turned away, and I smirked at his stubbornness. Carefully I ripped off a large chunk of meat and carried it over, placing it in front of him. Why are you giving me this? He asked warily, sniffing it with caution. Because youre too stubborn to apologize like the others, and believe it or not Im not as heartless as I can seem! He looked at me slightly confused and sighing I started to walk away. Thank you! I heard him say quietly and smiling I turned and nodded. Your welcome! Once again I turned, now heading away from them all out into the total wilderness, I wasnt exactly sure what I was going to find out here, but I was sure that there was something. HEY! Where are you going? The white wolf called after me and turning I shrugged. I dont know anywhere I guess! I called back, staying where I was as he and the others finished their meals and ran over to me. Why dont you come with us? The collared wolf asked and I looked at him questioningly. Where exactly are you going? To Paradise! The small wolf chirped in and I ran those words through in the head. Paradise? I wonder what its like? Well I suppose if I go with them then Ill find out! I thought to myself and nodding I smiled. Sure Ill go with youumm who are you? The pack smiled and introduced themselves, the small wolf with the bracelets was Toboe, the collared wolf was Hige, the grey wolf was Tsume and finally the white wolf was Kiba. Then it was my turn and rather shyly I introduced myself. My names Marishka, but you can call me Marry! I said simply and they all smiled. It had been several weeks since I had met them and in that short period of time I had come to think of them as my family, I was now really close with Toboe which made me happy because I liked him a lot. Hey Marry, you going to come down to the river? I looked up from where I was currently lying, Toboe was standing in the entrance of the cave, he was shifting from paw to paw excitedly and laughing I nodded and got to my feet. I liked traveling but staying in one place was good too, we had decided to stay here for a couple of days to recuperate before we started off again. Quickly we made our way down to the river and much to my surprise as we arrived the others left, shrugging it off I laughed and jumped in the water, splashing Toboe as I did. Glaring at me playfully he jumped in after me, chasing me around in the water. Finally after a couple of hours of playing water tag I dragged myself up onto the bank, shaking myself dry and then lying down on the shingles that lined the waters edge. Not long after Toboe got out of the water, shaking himself dry and coming lying beside me. Sighing he rested his head on his paws and I looked at him worriedly. Hey whats up? You dont look happy at all? Sighing again he looked up at me and smiled sadly, his fur, like mine, was still damp and as I looked into his eyes I wasnt sure if he had tears in his eyes or if it was from where we had been swimming. Im ok Marry, its justits nothing Shaking his head he stopped and worriedly laid my head beside his and nuzzled him softly. What is it? You can tell me! Toboe sighed again and leant his head into mine, his eyes closed. Carefully I moved closer to him and nudged him softly as an encouragement. Im not sure I can tell you this Marry! He whispered softly and I felt my heart ache as I watched a tear trickle down his cheek. Slowly I reached up and whipping the tear away I nuzzled him again. Of course you can Toboe you can tell me anything! Again he sighed and then after a short pause he spoke. The truth isI like you, I like you a lot and I want you to be my mate butI know that you probably wont want to! I sat there shocked; of all the things I thought he would be upset about I didnt think that this would be one of them! He liked me? For a single moment I felt happier than I ever had in my life, I liked him toobut why couldnt I think of the words to tell him. Why dont you think that Ill want to be your mate? I asked quietly, still in slight shock. Because Im not strong like Tsume and Kiba and Hige, Im not as funny and I cant do most of the things they canlook its ok that you dont want to be my mate! As he said this he slowly got up and began to walk back up the bank towards the cave. I opened my mouth to call him back, to tell him how I felt and despaired as no sound came out, I tried to move, to stop him but again I couldnt move, all I could do was watch helplessly as he walked away. When I had finally regained full use of my body and voice I made my way up to the cave, Tsume, Kiba and Hige had gone hunting so I quietly made my way into the cave to where Toboe was lying. Toboe? I whispered as I walked over to him. Toboe can I talk to you? Toboe grunted and got to his feet walking past me and out towards the entrance, once again I found I couldnt move but this time, my voice still worked. I do want to be your mate! I called out suddenly and Toboe stopped, turning slowly. Im sorry I didnt say anything before, I tried but I couldntI do want to be your mate, I have done for ages, Ive just been to shy to say anything! Toboe looked at me shocked then he shook his head as if deciding what I was saying wasnt the truth. But Im not strong or brave or! I know! I interrupted finally managing to get my body to take a step forward. But I dont care! Again he shook his head and sat down in shock, a tear of happiness falling from his eyes, smiling I walked over and nuzzled into him, slowly he laid his head on top of mine. We sat there for ages neither of us saying a word, finally hearing the others return we broke apart. Hey guys where back! Did you miss us? Hige said laughing as he entered the cave, Tsume and Kiba entering behind him, hauling in the carcass of a large deer. So much happen when we where gone? Hige asked as he sat down and started to eat. Marry agreed to be my mate! Toboe replied quietly from behind me and I laughed as Hige almost chocked on his food, the other 2 looked at us both, uncertain what to do or say! Smiling I sat beside Toboe, laying my head on his shoulder as the others watched, then getting up again I nuzzled him and walked over to the deer and began to eat. After a few minutes Toboe came and sat beside me and everyone began to eat in silence. Well ummcongratulations I guess! Hige said sitting back, having finished eating and sitting back both Toboe and I thanked him. Slowly we both got up and moving further back in the cave we lay down, Toboe gently licking the blood off of my muzzle. I giggled slightly and cuddled into him closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep, dreaming of Paradise, Rakuen, the place I now wanted to go more than ever. Take this quiz!
