I'll keep this part short. Anyway, a few things to note. I'm usually open to battles, so if you're willing, I should battle you. However, be aware that I sometimes am not paying attention to the Shoutbox/Chatzone so I may not see requests for battle. Also, I may not refresh the page for a long time, hence not notice a new battle challenge.

Shadow Bryght's History

Shadow was born from Shii's imagination around the early 2000's, with a little help from superheroes, such as Spiderman. For many nights, the creator would create new adventures and challenges, and slowly Shadow grew, gaining new abilities. Some traits that still remain in the modern Shadow is the ability to move the atoms at the speed of light, thus opening the possibility of many powers.

Shadow had only one name at first. However, the creator gained access to the virtual world around 2007. User names to accounts became a necessity, and at this point, the mind of the creator was sparked. Prior to this, novels of Science Fiction were read. From the novels, the Paradox fascination was formed. Then the fascination moved onto Oxymorons. Hence, the idea of an oxymoron was brought up, and the creator added 'White' before 'Shadow' to create WhiteShadow.

However, the creator was not truly satisfied with White, and on a particular site, WhiteShadow was already taken by someone else. Hence, the mind got to work with the faults in the English language and changed it to Whyte, as the word 'Why' and 'Byte' pronounce the 'y' sound as '-aI', whereas the word 'White' in the creator's eyes was pronounced more like 'Wit'.

As time progressed, the curious mind looked up WhyteShadow only to find that a musical band used the same name. In order to not be mistaken for such, the mind was again ignited, and began to find oxymorons that had a similar meaning as the original. The mind eventually landed on Bright, but again took the stance of Whyte, hence Bryght was created and added - the final product being BryghtShadow.

Some sites allowed changes in the username, while others restricted. However, that didn't stop the creator from altering the possible ones.

Meanwhile, Shadow remained without any history, name whatsoever. The creator eventually was drawn towards forum roleplays, and decided that a surname and more depth to the character would be nice. Conveniently, the name Bryght was now available. However, it was undecided for a while whether the name would be Shadow Bryght or Bryght Shadow, but eventually, Shadow Bryght was chosen.

Next, Shii began to think about kin. Related names were searched. 'Kage' was the Japanese word for Shadow, hence Kage was searched in dictionaries; the names 'Kagerou' and 'Kageboushi' were chosen. Kagerou was assigned as the father; Kageboushi was assigned as the mother. Then they were deliberately erased from Shadow's memory when Shadow was just 3 years of age, to exist as fragments of her past. They occasionally appeared as voices in her mind, giving her advice from time to time.

The discussion of roleplays were brought up during a Instant Messaging conversation and it moved onto Video Game creation. Many things were considered, including names. Shadow Bryght was the first to appear on the list.
