April 1, 2012 - Kir's Quest Update

Kir's Quest Update

As many of you may have noticed, there is an excess in Credit Shop creatu in the game.

While we just simply cannot 'delete' them from users nor take them, we have decided to combat this large quantity of Credit Shop creatu in the game by making Unit K1R807 request for them.

This change will hopefully balance things out and make Credit Shop creatu rarer, as we had designed it to be when we first made them.

Should you have concerns about this or wish to voice your opinion, you may do so by submitting a Support Ticket. You will, however, be charged 100,000 tu for the ticket.

March 21, 2012 - Myotis Update
The Myotis is now available in Indigo, Lemon, and Rose. It has also received an updated description!

indigo baby lemon adolescent rose adult

Myotis are friendly, adventurous Creatu. They live in large colonies and break off into smaller ones to hunt. As a group, they encircle the insects they are trying to feed on and one after another dives into the swarm, picking off insects easily. When they manage to find fruit they are more than happy to land and make it their dinner instead of their usual diet of insects. They are often considered a nuisance in urban areas because they chirp to find their prey and large clouds of them can turn into a cacophony.

When young Myotis are born, the entire colony will defend them but only the mother will feed her young. They can tell each other apart by the slight differences in chirps and a baby quickly learns to recognize its mother's chirp or it starves. When they are young, they cannot fly and rely on their powerful hind legs to jump branch-to-branch or rock-to-rock to explore. As they get older, they begin practicing flying; this can often be dangerous if their mother is not there to watch them at all times. Once they are old enough to fly well, they have to learn how to catch their prey quickly because the mother will almost immediately stop feeding them and keep her food for herself. For this reason, adolescent Myotis will often steal from others until they have observed and practiced enough to catch their own prey.

In captivity, Myotis are more than happy to stop hunting and be fed. They will not become bitter if they are not fed often enough as long as they have access to the outdoors. If they get hungry they will simply fly out and catch their own meals, given that they have had a chance to practice indoors. If they have never seen a wild Myotis catch its meal, they are unlikely to be able to do so themselves. They are defensive of those they live with, likening them to their colony in the wild. If they feel that their owner is threatened, they will dive at the intruder, flaring their wings and shrieking until the owner either calms them or the intruder is driven away, sometimes even resorting to biting if the intruder is particularly difficult to scare. For this reason they are often used as guards, especially in large groups.

We have made some adjustments to Kir's Quest.  The creatu requests are now a little more in line with the rarity of the colors. It should be slightly easier now.
