Ice Dancer

Frozen water, that is all
That an ice rink truly is
Yet to dance there is my passion
And my one true love
On the earth, I’m bad at sports
Yet somehow on the glassy surface
With my skates, I become
The greatest athlete I can be
Others, they all dance in pairs
I dance alone but I am never
Truly on my own, there is always
The cold, the music
And, of course, the ice
