Nature Artist

I sit and listen as the world goes by
And through its power thus I know myself
I paint the beauty deep within
Each and every living thing
Nature’s subtle, this I know
And from tiny seeds may grow
The biggest trees, and strongest beasts
And peace is all that gives more peace
In blues and greens I show the sea
In greys and blues I paint the sky
The heather dotted fields beyond
In shades of green and purple lie
Life is bright but subtle still
I am not one for the bold
And daring, after all since when
Do you see clashing colours
In the world around you?
