Origin Behind Your Usernames

Normal User Posts: 953	My username came about when I was younger and making another neopets account. The dragon part of it is because of my odd love of dragons. As for the number, my favorite number is three, so I stuck that on the end and the other two numbers are my birthday (I'm not telling what it is...but I guess it's kind of obvious XD) When Dragon393 is taken I use Blackstardragon or Blackstardragon393 The black star dragon is my character Lazily drawn picture time! Apparently the putting it directly in the forum isn't working for me, so I shall put li-nks (huh, its not letting me put the word properly....) ja[injection]vasc[injection]ript:nicTemp(); ja[injection]vasc[injection]ript:nicTemp(); Huh, even the li-nks are acting funny....Not the point of this thread though, moving on :3

Normal User Posts: 520	I picked Lady because I love the times when women would often be referred to as Lady or M'lady, and because my Grandpa, who I love more than anyone used to call me Little Lady. Although I was always more of a tomboy, and spent my days with him in his shop working on carpentry. & I picked Yelena because I was looking for a username years ago to play FFXI, and my boyfriend and his friend suggested that Yelena fit me really well. To this day most of my friends still call me Yele, or Yelena. It's become a nickname of mine that I'll always cherish. Click Here for DKs & Dyed Items

I'm a woman, so I'm PlainclothesWoman. :3 Also, a plainclothes man is a plainclothes cop, as in a police officer not in uniform and going undercover. Just liked the whole image :) It was really interesting reading all of these actually! I have a few other regular usernames on other sites... Alameda (an Elliott Smith song), snurtsnurgle (something my dad says XD look up "snurt" and "snurgle" on urban dictionary - they are our definitions, by the urban dictionary username "hozzy"), and finally, the very boring Nathaley92. Kinda crazy, but on sunny days I'm often sitting in my backyard with my mom's beautiful garden, paying no attention the birds flitter over and by me as I watch the clouds. You know the game where people are like, "Oh! That cloud looks like a cheetah!" etc.? I dunno why, but I can literally see memories from my past up there. My username was going to be something to do with clouds, and I didn't want any numbers and that sorta stuff in it. I just wanted it to be plain, and I love how I roll "Clouding" off my tounge, so it stuck. :)

Normal User Posts: 81	Mine was a shortening of one of my other usernames, Flofox. I don't know where the 'Flo' was from, and the 'fox' was because I liked them at the time! My better username is 'Haloclimb' though- I was watching some nature documentary about underwater caves when they mentioned something called a halocline, where salt water met fresh water and the salt water, being denser, sank below the fresh. Swimming in the salt water layer, it looks like there's air above, when in reality there's just more water! Apparently a few divers drowned that way so I wanted the name. Of course I then promptly misspelled it :/

Normal User Posts: 407	My username comes from my love for musicals. Yes, my secret obsession is musicals, but at school, I hide it or else I would be laughed at. So there is this one musical called Spring Awakening (heard of it anybody?) My two favorite actors/actresses from GLEE (Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff) starred in that musical and they originated the roles that they played. Now, Lea Michele acted as Wendla Bergmann and Jonathan Groff acted as Melchior Gabor. I really liked the character of Wendla since she was so innocent, yet she died at such a young age since she followed her heart. It was also a very pretty German name, and it is the German version of Wendy. I loved Peter Pan, and Wendy was my favorite character, so that was a bonus! So, that is my reason for my username! <== CLICK ME!
