Siren sighed. "It's in the woods that way about a mile. All you have to do is follow the trail and the sound of crashing water, given that the trail's a bit hard to find if someone's never been there before." She pointed towards a parting in the trees surrounding her house, smiling.
"And that's epic that you can run faster thean a cheetah." She grinned. |

Kentaro smiled and looked at Siren. He picked her up and walked over toward the trees. He put the girl on his back and smiled. He stepped through the trees and took one step forward, instantly, they were gone. Nothing but a puff of dirt that he stirred up. He appeared again, next to the waterfall. He smiled.
Traine was close behind them, appearing next to them. "Wow.. It's gorgeous." He smiled and stretched himself out. "So pretty. You swim here a lot?"

Before Siren could think, she was out of Traine's grip and on Kentaro's back in one swift motion. Even quicker than those actions had been taken, they were gone. She watched the forest whiz by her in a flash of green, brown, and other forest-like colors. Upon instinct, she held on tighter, wrapping her arms around Kentaro's neck tightly, but not so tight as to strangle him.
But then she'd realized that they'd stopped as soon as she'd tightened her grip on Kentaro, but she couldn't seem to make herself let go. The experience was exciting, wonderful, but startling. It made her head spin.
She managed to find an answer to Traine's question. "I swim here all the time." |

Kentaro smiled and looked at the whole thing. It was very lovely. "So, do you swim in like... a bathing suit or something? I'm not sure if I'd like you to swim... yeah.." He removed his shirt and placed it down beside his shoes.
Train copied his brother and smiled. "Well, hey, Siren. You should show us how you swim here?"

Siren poked Train and Kentaro. "I don't swim naked, you idiots." She put her head in her hands, laughing a bit, still dizzy from the ride here on Kentaro's back.
"I normally just swim here in my underwear and bra. But, since I have a bathing suit on underneath this, you guys will have to miss out on me in my lingerie." She giggled, stripping her clothes off to reveal a black and white polka-dotted one piece.
She dove into the water without another word, and popped up several seconds later near the waterfall. "You guys coming in? The water's great!" |

Kentaro retreated slightly at the poke. He didn't normally let humans touch him, even if it was merely a poke. He looked at her and laughed. "Not really want to see that much of a human girl." He licked his sharp canines and nodded. He looked at his pants but decided to keep tehm on. He dove in and popped up under the waterfall's pounding, but beautiful, water. He smiled.
"Feels nice I suppose.. You know.. If this water's cold, I can't exactly feel it.. I'm cold blooded after all." He yawned slightly and beckoned his brother.
Traine smiled and looked at the two. He took his own shoes off and dove into the water. He swam over toward Siren and swam up under her, getting her onto his shoulders. "Haha, you're light as a feather!"

Siren smiled as she watched Kentaro under the waterfall. The mist that was coming from the impact of the running water hitting the water below made Kentaro look like some sort of god. She blushed at the thought, turning away to hide her red cheeks, only to find something swimming up under her.
She was lifted out of the water on top of Traine's shoulders. She felt like she was going to lose her balance, so she put her hands on his cheeks, not wanting to strangle him by wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Traine! You scared me." She bit her lip, adrenaline running through her veins. She enjoyed being this close to two boys. Two friends. For now. |

Kentaro smiled and swam out from the waterfall. He swam over to the pair. "Let her down Traine. You're going to scare the poor human girl." He poked his brother in the side, causing his brother to laugh. "Now now, you're holding her, don't want to drop her." He watched as Traine sunk down adn swam out from under Siren and under his brother. He tossed his brother up and back, maing Kentaro splash into the water.
Kentaro hissed when he came up and glared. He pounced on his brother and shoved his head under water. "Good thing you can't die!" He hissed before he felt Traine grab his hand and pull him under.

Siren grinned as she watched the boys rough-house, glad that she was no longer on Traine's back. If she was, she'd be underwater against her will by now. Siren giggled at the thought.
"You guys are going to get as close to drowning as a vampire can," she yelled, trying to calm the two down. They were just like little kids, but they were definately interesting. |

Kentaro was the first to pop back up. He smiled at Siren. "Hey, we can't technically die, but it still hurts when you're deprived of oxygen. You know, we still have to breathe. So Siren, while we're all here, why not tell us about your lovely home here in Florida." He hisses the name. How he hated the sun, even with his earring in.
Traine popped up next, jumping onto his brother's back. "Yeah, tell us about this little home of yours. I mean, it doesn't look like the old houses of the English Peasants. Or the paper walled houses of serfs in Japan." He smiled and clung to his brother, not wanting to fall back in the water.

Siren had to think about how to answer the boys' questions. How was she supposed to describe her own home. Hadn't they seen it themselves....
After a few minutes, she finally decided on how to answer.
"Well, I love my home. It's nice and sunny, but I get sunburned a lot." She nervously scratched the back of her neck, adding, "I burn. I don't tan." A nervous laugh escaped her lips before she dipped under the water and swam over to Kentaro and Traine, her legs and arms moving effortlessly as she kept her head above the water. |

Kentaro smiled and looked at Siren. "Well, let's see, you could use sun block. Or we can bite you and give you a sun protector." He smiled. "But the second option would turn you into a vampire, and you don't want that. Humans tend to want to die as they age." He looked at Siren as she swam over and he looked at his brother, who was trying to get on his shoulders.
"You're home, even thought we saw it, seems better when you describe it to us like that." He finally got on his brother's shoulders and pulled his brother's chin up a little. "Hey, hey, we should take her up the waterfall! It would look really pretty and we can dive... you know.. she would break something, but we wouldn't."

Though Siren wanted to protest, she didn't. Her fear of heights was something that she was determined to get rid of, and she would do her best to bear through the adrenaline rush, the increased heart rate, and the nausea that she felt when she was on an elevated surface.
She swallowed and said, "Yeah... That sounds like fun." A smile was on her face. "But you can be sure as hell that I'm not going to dive." |

Traine laughed. "I wouldn't expect you too.. Human's are... weak creatures that break too easily. Fall on the water from the waterfall and the best case would be you breakin' a wrist or some ribs.." He smiled though. "Here, I'll let Kentaro carry you instead. I don't climb well with extra weight, if it's over twenty pounds."
Kentaro rolled his eyes. "I don't plan on diving either Traine. We may not die, but you do remember what happened when you jumped off that bridge right? Scared the police for one, but you broke your leg from hitting the surface straight on.. No pain, but still looked it." He sighed. "I'll just take you up for the view if you'd like and get you down safely." He looked at Siren.

Siren nodded. "Alright." She was a bit happy that she wouldn't have to climb on her own, or get onto Traine's back. Not that she had anything against Traine- It's just that she seemed to connect a bit more with Kentaro.
She walked out of the water and patiently waited to see if Kentaro would pick her up or simply ask her to get on his back. |

key taro smiled and looked at Siren. "So, how are you at getting on people's backs? I don't want to have you fall on my way up there." he smiled and looked at Siren then his brother, who was already heading up the cliffside.
"Hurry up slowpokes! You guys are taking much too long!" He laughed from the top of the waterfall and his eyes sparkled with the stunning view. He could see everything and it was beautiful.

"I'm good enough at it," Siren said, walking over to Kentaro and jumping onto his back carefully. She held on tightly, but didn't squeeze around his neck so that she wouldn't choke him.
"We wouldn't be considered slowpokes if you'd just slow down!" Siren yelled up to Traine, a smile on her face as she looked up at him through a rainbow created by the mist given off by the waterfall. |

Kentaro laughed and smiled. "Whatever, Traine!!" he walked up to the cliff and smiled up at his brother. He grabbed the first edge of rock and hauled himself up."Alright, Siren, don't you let go." He kept pulling himself up and was soon up the cliff too. He could feel the spray of the waterfall and pulled himself up the final part.
"Finally you slow people. Jeez..." He laughed and looked back up to the view. "You know, we've never really seen all of Florida in the hundred years we've been here."

Siren felt her stomach drop as Kentaro put his hand on the first rock in order to haul himself up. What had she gotten herself into?
Once they reached the top of the waterfall, Siren was clinging tightly to Kentaro. She made the mistake of looking down onto the water below them, and buried her face in Kentaro's neck, her ragged breath hot on his skin.
"Don't let me go. Don't let me go. Take me back down, please. Take me down." She was too scared to even cry. |
